I couldn't get Captain Hokka out of my head. That kiss... God my father would be furious. I touched my lips and felt a smile tug my lips. I ran my hand through my red hair, sighing.
My father and I had to visit some royal function, but my mind was too distracted. Some baron that my father wanted me to meet, but I had no interest.
"Stupid Captain Hokka for bewitching me!" I whispered as I stepped out of the party. The drinking and dancing was too obnoxious and I told my father I was going back home.
I walked into my room, something felt wrong and my balcony door was wide open, the white curtains flew in. I decided to go behind my screen and change out of my dress into a black silk dressing gown.
I felt a large hand cover my mouth, my heart beating out of my chest. I was shoved against the wall and met by those crystalline blue eyes.
"Christ Joel you gave me a fright." I said while he slowly removed his hand from my mouth. His arms pulls me in closer and placed a kiss on my lips.
My fingers entangling in his dirty blonde hair, while Captain Hokka pulls me even closer to him. He pulls away and I was left breathless. We pulled away.
"So I got you something!" Joel says and I looked at him in a wide eyed fashion. He pulls me toward the mirror and tells me to close my eyes.
"Uh Captain Hokka what is it?" I asked him, he stayed silent as his fingers brush my bare skin. I had my eyes closed.
"Alright open your eyes." Joel day and I did, around my neck. I found a green emerald and diamond necklace and matching ring:

"Oh my! That's so beautiful Captain Hokka." I whisper to him. I touch my neck and the necklace.
His hands held my red hair while the moonlight touched dazzling jewel. I stood on my toes and give him a kiss. I heard a knock on my door.
"Go hide!" I said and I quickly scramble to take off the jewels and put it in the chest he got me. Joel rushes out on the balcony.
"Ah Lizzie my darling daughter how are you feeling?" My father asks me, I looked to see if Joel.
"I'm doing well father." I said hugging him.
"I see you always watch the horizon, do you miss captain Hokka?" He asks me and I nodded.
"Do you think he will be back?" I asked, although he was right here. I stayed silent.
"I think he will." My father says with a smile and pets my hand and walks away leaving me alone. I made sure to lock my chambers door.
"So you missed me huh?" Joel asks me, while walking up to me and cupping my cheek in his. Our eyes gazing into each other's.
"Yes I missed you, is that such a bad thing? I couldn't get the kiss out of my head." I whispered, looking at the tall blonde haired man before me. Is it odd to say that he had bewitched my mind, my soul and every essence of me?
"No Lizzie that's not a bad thing, besides I did want to ask you something." Joel says while cupping my chin in his big hand.
"What is it?" I asked him. While he chuckled and moved a strand of my hair out of my face.
"Come with me? Let's share adventures together." Joel says to me and I laughed.
"How do I just up and leave? Besides you're a pirate and I'm just me. You've got women flocking you." I said with a sigh.
"They maybe flocking me, they have tried. But you're the one I want." Joel says.
"Is that why you brought me a jewel to seduce me?" I asked the man in black in front of me.
"Is that such a bad thing? Besides I did save your life from that God forsaken corset? Did I not?" He asks with a smile playing his lips. I laughed at that.
"Well indeed you saved my life." I said recalling the moment I laid my eyes on him. God he was such a divine man.
"Anyway, my ship is at the marina. So you can visit me then." Captain Hokka says and leaves out of the balcony.
God how can a man be so sexy? I decided to get some sleep.
(The Next Morning)
I decided on a black dress:

I put on the necklace he gave me and the ring.
"Lady Elizabeth where are you going?" My handmaiden Tituba asks me.
"I'm going for a walk, tell my father." I said and I rushed out of the house and I found myself walking toward the marina where the ships were. I spotted a guy with black hair rushing around.
"Excuse me is Captain Hokka around?" I asked him.
"He sure is. You're not the Lady Elizabeth or Lizzie. He speaks of you often." The black haired one says, while he helps me onto the ship.
"I sure am. How about you?" I asked him.
"Oh my name is Mattson and first name Aleksi." He says and I nodded. He was definitely cute.
"Joel you decent you got a guest!" Aleksi calls into his office area.
"He'll be right with you. Nice to meet you Miss Lizzie." The black haired one disappears.
I walked in and I saw Joel standing shirtless looking out across the horizon, his hair was a little wet maybe he bathed.
"Captain Hokka! I'm here." I call and he spins around and I saw his beard was gone. He shaved.
"Ah Lady Elizabeth what a surprise! I see you're wearing the jewels I got for you. So what's your answer?" He asks me and I closed the door and march over to Joel.
"Yes I'll come with you!" I whisper and he smiles at me.
"I was hoping you'd say that!" Joel whispers and leans down and pressed his lips against mine. I stood on my toes and wrap my arms around his neck, he pulls me closer to him and kissed me passionately.
"So what do you say Lizzie?" He asks me.
"Aye Captain!" I said and we both laughed.
"I like you Lizzie." He says and I laughed.
"I like you too Joel!" I said with a smile.
