If anyone would have told Jimin that a school teacher would come into their lives and stir their stone cold hearts and make them human again, he would've called them crazy.

However, after a certain brunette entered their lives, he witnessed the changes with his own eyes.

He did notice how Taemin became more happier, more alive and more real, how Taehyung warmed up to him in a very short period of time—showing the goofy side of him which was reserved only for the close ones, how Hoseok impetuously slipped into his sunshine self as they played, how Yoongi took part in the play instead of waving it off with his usual uninterested self. He perceived everything.

Despite having everyone's love and affection, Jungkook still could not procure his trust.

Moreover, he supposed that their first meeting was frivolous. He did not even consider to remember the teacher's name assuming that it would be the most they would interact. But when he encountered him on the same day, he became dubious about him.

Furthermore, the younger's interaction with Jungkook did not look like it would end for a day. This compelled him to do the background check on the teacher.

And since he did not want the others to invest time in something so trivial, he checked it by himself.

As expected, he did not find anything suspicious. Inculpating it on his chariness and protectiveness over Taemin, he dismissed it and deduced that it was a healthy bond.

It was again on the brunette's birthday his wariness kicked in. The mention of the inexistent elder brother drove him to run the investigation again, more carefully. He did not remember reading about any brother in the teacher's file, it was mentioned that he was the only child. So where did the brother come from?

He became more alert, sending spies to monitor Jungkook's every move. All he got was that the brunette would travel back and forth to school in his car and walk to other places. Furthermore, the only places he visited everyday were the school, a convenience store and two stray cats at the end of his street.

Everything the teacher did were completely contrary to the information that was erased from his file. He looked innocent, talked politely, acted childishly. No one could even doubt that he might be a spy sent for them.

If he was so transparent outside, why were his records mysterious? Is he aware that his brother's existence was completely eradicated from his life?

So many queries floated in his mind like directionless clouds in the blue sky. He was sure that the brunette was not a spy or a member working for his enemies. But what if his brother was? What if his brother brings troubles? He would never leave Taemin alone with Jungkook until he found out who was the brother since he was not sure how long it would take for them to finish their current mission—it might be a day or a week.

Jungkook's brother's existence was like a door without a lock nor a key. There was no way to move forward. And not anyone and everyone with small networks and resources could abolish a person's existence.

All he could say was that the brother is not dead. There was no body found.

Even a hint of a mystery was enough to set him upon the trail as relentlessly as a bloodhound.

He also tried the other options over the brunette. He could not help himself, it was just that his ability of lack of trust surfaced when he came across the mysterious files.
