Chapter 8

"Y/n stay here for a while, we'll take care of him" Kakucho took me to a nice warm room

He left me alone in the room where he lead me. I starting to think what will happen if I stay here.

Hours had passed it's midnight I haven't seen Sanzu. I couldn't hold myself anymore I stepped out of the room and went to Sanzus.

I took a peek through the door and saw him holding Maria's picture and looked so relieved.

"Why can't I be her?" I whispered

I felt someone touched my shoulder. I looked around and saw Ran standing beside me.

"Oh gosh Ran why are you here" I said

"I should be the one who's asking" Ran said

"Ha? haha oh yeah" I got nervous

"You like him?" Ran asked as he looks at Sanzu

"What? What do you mean?" I said

"I mean what are you doing in here? Aren't you going to sleep?" Ran asked

"Ahh, yeah I was supposed to but I couldn't so I went out and took a look at him to see if he's ok" I explained

"So do you love him?" Ran asked again

"Why'd you ask?" I go against his question

"Well you see, he really loved Maria that much, he even killed every man who talked to Maria even it's just a single word" Ran replied

"He really love her that much huh?" I asked

"Sanzu didn't let any other man went to her funeral his reason is because she was killed by a man" Ran said

"A man" I whispered under my breath

"Maria was the only girl who can calm him down. I remember Sanzu got into a fight in a bar everyone's trying to hush him but he's on range, then Maria hit Sanzu on the head with the bottle, then he went "oh baby I'm sorry I won't do that again" We just laughed at him" Ran added

"HAHAHAHA She's amazing, btw is Mikey related to Maria?" I asked

"They were childhood best friends" Ran replied

"Woah w-well I-i guess that's it I can't replace her even in Bonten" I mumbled

"Y-yeah umm, ohh look its late I gotta go sleep bye" I immediately ran while holding back my tears

I went back to the room and cried out loud. I knew that I can't take this pain anymore.

Crying so hard made me sleep so deep that it's almost lunch I haven't got out of bed.

"Where's Y/n?" Rindo asked Kakucho

"In the room where I took her, why?" Kakucho asked

"It's almost lunch and she hasn't come out yet" Rindo said

"I'll go check on her" Kakucho answered

*Knock knock* "Y/n, hey wanna have lunch?" Kakucho said

Kakucho knocked but Y/n didn't answer. He knocked again but no one answers. He banged the door and almost broke it but still no one answers.

Rindo lost his patience he kicked the door and it opened. Kakucho rushed to the bed and took the blanket off but Y/n isn't there. Rindo looked at the bathroom but Y/n isn't also there.

"Y/n wak- ha? pillows?" Kakucho said

"Maybe she's at the bathroom. . .Y/n are yo- the door's open?" Rindo said

"She's gone"
