I laying in a hoodie that once again wasn't mine in our tent. I walked out and saw the guys sit at the now lit campfire. I walked towards them and sat down next to them. They had already cooked some food, which I quite enjoyed. The rest of the night we talked and played games. I wasn't sleepy at all, probably because I took a 5-hour nap.

George decided to go sleep, he was tired and he slept less than half the amount he sleeps at home, so he's pretty much exhausted.

After another game of Uno, and Clay winning, he decided that with his victory he could go to bed, so he left.

Nick and I were just exchanging some words, but mostly silently looking at the fire. The silence was nice, there wasn't much of it when you're on a trip with four people.

Nick slightly lightly coughed, maybe clearing his throat? I looked over to him, and we made eye contact and I smiled at him, turning my attention back to the fire. My head was laying on my knees as I hugged them, my face nice and toasty in these cool forest surroundings.

"Hey Jas," Nick begins to speak, I turn my head to him. My right cheek now laying on top of my knees, and I hummed.

"I- uhm, I've got something to tell you," he explained. He was fiddling with his fingers, looking down at his lap.

"Okay, what's up?" I ask cheery, closing my eyes slightly to listen to the crackling of the fire.

"Well, I've sat with this for a bit now, so, like, I thought I would just tell you, get it off my mind," I hum in response.

"I, well I don't want to make this like, uhm, weird, but I think, your like, quite cute, and I- I, uhm, I might have feelings for you, and there probably one-sided, but it's just in my mind all the time and I thought you should just know before I make you uncomfortable," he rambles on, his pace speeding up as he gets further into the sentence.

I look at him and we make eye contact, and I sigh, "Nick, you know you are a great friend, I love you so much and you always help me, but I don't have romantic feelings towards you. I'm sorry, it's just, I don't know, my head is also a mess. But I know I don't have feelings for you, I'm sorry," I explain and he nods to me.

"I reckoned. It's okay, we can still be friends, right?" I nod eagerly.

"Of course," I scoot over to him and give him a side hug, while my head is on his shoulder as I embrace him, he puts his head on mine and rubs my other cheek.

"Thank you," he whispers and he smiles, "and might it be that your head is a mess because of a certain blond?"

I pull back and look at him with a confused look, "Clay?" I almost laugh at what he suggests.

"Yeah, Clay yeah. You guys are awfully close but so distant at the same time. Something is going on right?"

I sigh, "well, well we hooked up a couple of times, and we're just getting more and more comfortable with one another, but we don't know each other. Well, other than body-wise."

He hummed, "don't you think there could be something between the two of you? Like romantic, instead of solemnly sexual?"

"I don't know, man," I rest my head in my hands, "it's just nice how it's now and I don't know if there is anything other involved, like feelings and such."

"Does George know?"

"About?"

"You guys hooking up?"

"Oh yeah, he kind of caught me in a lie trying to cover up Clay was at ours. And he immediately suggested a relationship, but I just don't know."

"You have no feelings toward him, zero?"
