"Keisuke," she called out.
"No. I'm your bae," he insisted.
"No, Keisuke," she replied firmly.
"No! I am your bae!" he persisted.
"No! Baji Keisuke!" she emphasized his name.
"I am your bae! Call me babe!" he insisted again.
"Then stop adding fuel to the fire, that's my neighbor's car! You damn ass duck!" she retorted, frustration evident in her tone.
"But their son— he— he pricked me in the eyes!" he defended himself.
"Goddamn, what the actual fucking reason is that?! Let's just— argh! Jesus Christ, help me deal with this motherfucker!" she screamed, rubbing her face with her palms in exasperation.
"Let's just go home! I'll treat you to peyoung yakisoba," he offered, turning in front of her and embracing her, dropping the fuel he was holding in the process.
"Shall we, (y/n) babe?" he asked with a smirk, guiding her away from the smoke emanating from the wrecked car. She merely grumbled, feeling sorry for the car's owner for what he'd done.
Poor car, sorry Ms. Shina-san.
When they arrived at her house, she placed the peyoung yakisoba on the table, but Baji snatched it up without waiting for her to be seated.
"Oh, (y/n), you're home? And Keisuke's here as well?" her father asked, smiling sweetly.
"Dad... yes, we just finished... walking," she replied, her gaze fixed on Baji, who didn't seem to grasp the implication of her words.
"Hi, dad!" Baji greeted, bowing slightly to her father, who returned the smile.
"That's my father," she muttered to herself, pouting. She couldn't help but notice that the more Baji visited her place, the better his relationship with her father seemed to become.
Which was actually good, considering her dad liked him even though he was a delinquent.
(12 years old; y/n and Baji)
