" H-Hi!'

I turn my head at Louise while I was walking down the stairs to the hallway with my backpack on my side and the guitar on my other hand while I was struggling with some of this stuff that I am carrying

" Hey!" I smile at her with a wave while my hand was perfectly full

" There's a marathon next month 'Fun Run', a fundraising project for saving our environment. I was hoping that you would come "

I quickly nod and smile even wider at her, even my dimple is getting deeper as I felt this little awkardness

" O-Okay, see you!" she waves her hand with a sweet excited smile and then went on the other way upstairs

Halos lumalawak n yung aking ngiti habang ako ay papalakad sa labas ng Campus

" Hey! Nich-Nich!"

With a moment there, my heart beat stop for a while as I stop from walking

I tilt my head a little with this little fear that touches my skin. I turn my head at them with his guys on the back with such freaky smiles as they cross their arms

" We just wanna compliment you!"

Kevin suddenly side-hug me nang dahan-dahan na nila ako'ng pinagtiponan sa kilid

" Let me tell you that, STAY AWAY FROM LOUISE VARINA!"

I didn't show fear to them, when slowly they push me and hit myself on the wall

" Any words before I hit this Bat at your pretty face, hm?"

" How 'bout-- I'll kill you!"

They quickly turn around when slowly, I saw Uncle Cody standing with his glares at them

" Heh! Fortunate, are you?"

Nagsi-alisan na sila habang napa-smirk sa akin

A little while, Uncle Cody walks toward me and smile as he slowly grab my bag and guitar

" You know.. When I was at your age, I usually visited Guidance Office than my Classroom, when this happens to me before"

We were walking now outside the campus as he was now carrying some of my things. I look at him in disbelief nang napatawa nalang siya sa akin

" Nag-aaral ka po dito?!" I ask while we are about to cross the streets, as my eyes are at the left and to the right-side

" Yes! Kaming lahat, lalo na yung mga Highest Clans, ay nasa 'Harvard University' nag-aaral "

Tumango ako nang kami ay nakatawid na at naglakad patungo sa kaniyang sasakyan

" So, yung mga nag-aaral po ba diyan noun ay mga vampires lang din po ba?"

" Immortal and Mortals meet there, napaka subrang mamahaling school yun kaya yung mga tao is hindi nila basta-bastang mapasukan yung school na'yun, pero kami'ng mga taga-iba na mundo, doun talaga kami na nag-aaral. The Supervisors and Heads knew about our existence and some of them are just like us "

My jaw really drops sabay ng panlalaki ng aking mga mata

" My mom was studying there until she graduated-- and there he met dad!" for a sudden agad ko ng tinakip ang aking bibig " I-I just spit that, that very loud.."

" Nah! It's okay!" he said with a smile as he open the door for me

Masaya naman ako'ng ngumiti sa kaniyang pabalik sabay na pagpasok ko sa sasakyan

I quickly close the door as I put my bag beside the stuffs at the backseat, and the I buckle up my seatbelt

He then started to turn on the engine as he started to move the car back to the road

" So, Uncle. Tell me more about that time " I ask while his eyes is on the road

" Well.. I'll tell you about this story to inspire you, not to literally do what I've did"

I quickly nod with my pleasing smile

" When I was 118, I was a very introverted person, although lots of girls-- especially humans, asked me to hang out with them, lalo na yung may Homecoming, ako yung lagi nilang pinagdadamutan. But, I was inlove to someone else that time-- I won't mention ' who ' because it's a long story tho *laugh *"

Napatawa nalang sabay ko'ng pagtango as he begin with the clearing of his throat

" The time when I was bullied because they were envious at me, everytime at the locker room... I got bruises and wounds "

I can feel the atmosphere while he is starting to tell me his stories in a serious way

" But.. Wounds heal, scars remain even it really disappears because of our race. Eversince I stumble and fall with so many pains and punches I got, I learn how to fight back and I never let any of them hurt me, ever again"

With his words he look at me when the lights turn red. He smile as I felt couragement to myself

" And yeah! there's rules in the school. Do not hurt others of you'll be called by the Councilors-- that STUFF! * laugh* so that's the reason why I sometimes my day is not complete without detention "

Napapikit nalang ako sabay face-palm habang pinaandar na niya ang kotse sabay tawa
