CHANGSOO-JIN WAS an achiever.
A class valedictorian and a naturally gifted woman. She was the best among the rest. Ever since she was a child, she joined school contests: spelling bees, quiz bees, public speaking competitions -- name it and she has won it first second place.

Soo-Jin wasn't afraid to do what was needed to achieve the goal. She was the type of person who face obstacles in life head-on and say, "Try me", rather than shrink and say, "Why me?".
A risk-taker and an overcomer. Soo-Jin was often told that her future was bright for she was a determined woman.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck the Chang family and Soo-Jin was forced to drop her dreams in order to pay her ailing sister's mounting hospital bills. Neck-deep in debt, Chang Soo-Jin contacted black market organ dealers to exchange one of her kidneys for one that her sister can use since the latter was in desperate need of a kidney transplant.
As she was on her way to the organ dealers, a recruiter suddenly approaches her, asking her to play Ddakji with him, immediately accepting when she saw the cash prize in his attache case. After the mini-game, he gave her a card and was told to register herself for some games that will reward her with more cash. Enticed, she signs up and confidently enters the competition that was based on popular children's games.
