Once they had reached the land, it felt like a weight had been lifted from both of their chests. They were getting closer to their final destination of jeju island.

Just a couple more stops and they'd be on their way to happiness.

Ji Yeong Jumped from out of the boat, Pulled her hand out towards Sae-Byeok to help her out and finally they were on land again.

"that was a long journey." Ji Yeong stated as she stretched her back and took her shoes of walking on the sand feeling the warmth between her toes.

"we're not staying here long, we need to find my brother." Sae-Byeok began to walk away from the sea.

"i know that." Ji Yeong replied and chased after her still holding her shoes in one hand.

"if we do this quickly we'll get to Jeju in no time, We'll check the orphanage first, and then his school." Sae-Byeok planned out. " you don't have any siblings right? any one you want to bring?"

"my family's dead you know that." Ji Yeong trailed behind her.

"i'm sorry about that, really. If i'm being honest i don't think i was ever going to see my mother again. there was a small chance she was possibly dead. But my brother, i had to keep faith for him, For a long amount of time he was the reason i woke up in the morning, without him i would have lost all motivation." Sae-Byeok gave a weak smile.

"so that's why you entered the game .why you left your brother?" Ji Yeong had asked.

"yes. i needed the money. We all did. If i knew it was a life or death situation i might have changed my mind but yet. I still came back when i had the chance." Sae-Byeok answered as she carried on walking.

"and you weren't scared?" Ji Yeong questioned following her.

"i didn't want to admit it but lets be real, it was some weird ass shit what happened in there, each round got harder and harder and once it had been the glass round, i had really thought it was going to be the end, and Ji Yeong when i tell you pulling the glass out of my stomach was not fun, but that's what happens, what money does to us." Sae-Byeok confessed.

"and yet the thing you're more scared of is asking for help."Ji Yeong blurted.

"what's that supposed to mean?" Sae-Byeok turned around to Ji Yeong.

"when you had the glass in your stomach, you didn't ask for help.when you first joined the game you kept to yourself, when i first met you, you didn't tell me your name, you only told me your secrets because one of us was going to take it to the grave. You're stubborn" Sae-Byeok laughed. " now i'm not saying that's a bad thing everyone has different traits, see mine i'm probably the opposite to you, i'm to open, i talk an awful lot and tell people my secrets." she had added.

"my mother when i was younger, she used to tell me opposites attract." Sae-Byeok smiled and began walking again. " and besides you haven't got a single bad trait Ji yeong."

Ji Yeong placed her shoes back on before getting off the sand and onto the pavement.

"how far do you think it will be?" Ji Yeong asked.

"not long, come on this way." Sae-Byeok spoke and they headed in to the town centre.

"do you want to play a game?" Ji Yeong asked.

"i think we've played enough games." Sae-Byeok taunted. The thought of playing a game ever again would haunt her for the rest of her life.

"oh right. But what if we just ask each other random questions? i didn't get to know you much in the marble game. Sure you told me some Secrets but i bet it wasn't all of them." Ji Yeong challenged.

Sae-Byeok fell silent for some time, She didn't want to play the game, she just wanted to find her brother, But she knew Ji Yeong would not have shut up otherwise.

"as long as i'm not suddenly eliminated for answering the question wrong." Sae-Byeok had tried to joke.

"Okay, I'll ask the first question." Ji Yeong bubbled as she followed Sae-Byeok down the road. "do you like to dance?"

"what?" Sae-Byeok wondered. It had been such a simple and easy question, nothing like a a game."you're serious?" and Ji Yeong nodded her head. "in that case no, i don't dance, and i certainly don't like it." Sae-Byeok answered.

"oh that's to bad." Ji Yeong frowned jokingly. " i love dancing, it almost makes me feel free, you should try it sometime. go ahead ask the next question."

Sae-Byeok thought for a while, she didn't know what to ask, it could be anything, but nothing would come to mind. " oh i've got one. Did you ever have any pets when you were younger. Do you like animals, if so what's your favourite animal?" Sae-Byeok finally questioned.

"hey that's more than one question!" Ji yeong teased.

"oh sorry." Sae-Byeok realised.

"it's fine, the game has no rules. And yes when i was younger i had a tabby cat, she ran away though and i never saw her again, i mean i would have done the same to be honest. I would say i'm an animal person, but i possibly can't choose a favourite, penguins are cute but so are pandas i guess." Ji Yeong shared.

"Pandas i agree. My brother always wanted a dog when he was little, But we could hardly afford food and supplies for ourselves, so his dream of owning a dog never came true, especially when he had been moved to the orphanage. I felt terrible." Sae-Byeok revealed.

"next question, do you believe in life after death." Ji Yeong contemplated.

"that just went dark quickly." sae-Byeok giggled. " and i'm not sure, i'd like to think there is, but honestly who knows." She stammered. " hmm what was your most memorable birthday."

"that's a hard one, i never enjoyed my birthday, i hardly ever celebrated it because we didn't have the money, But it would have to be the one where i had this chocolate cake, my first birthday cake. oh you should have seen it, it was delicious." Ji Yeong announced.

"i'm sorry about that but i promise, your next birthday will be even better you'll see." Sae-Byeok smiled towards her.

"i'll keep your word on that." Ji Yeong smiled back. "okay last question, Do you feel guilty that you joined the game, witnessed all the deaths.?" Ji Yeong gulped as she asked the question, she didn't know if this was going to upset Sae-Byeok or not.

"of course i do, It's not every day you witness someone die, It felt like we were all going insane, especially when so called teammates started killing others." Sae-Byeok replied and turned a corner down the street.

"it's going to haunt us for the rest of our life isn't it?" Ji Yeong sighed.
