Ji yeong Dropped the marble from her hand to the floor. Her death was fate.
She glanced at Sae-Byeok a look she wish she'd never have to see again.
Ji Yeong was going to die for Sae-Byeok.
Ji Yeong had known it was going to be her from the start, It was obvious, Sae-Byeok had something to live for. Ji Yeong on the other hand did not. It was the opposite.
Sae-Byeok pinned Ji Yeong to the wall. For almost a split second Ji Yeong thought they were going to kiss, She was rather close to her. But then Sae-Byeok began to cry.
Sae-Byeok looked disappointed like she had been betrayed of some sort. But she had to understand it was what was best. She could live on for her brother, find her mother.
It would have been useless for Ji Yeong to still be alive. Of course she didn't want to die, But she'd die for a friend if that was the case and it was.
Ji Yeong watched as Sae-Byeok turned and walked away not looking back.
"Kang Sae-Byeok!" Ji yeong yelled in which Sae-Byeok stopped.
"thank you, for playing with me." The final words of Ji Yeong.
She had been shot in the head seconds after. It wasn't until she had bumped in to Ali (player 199) in which she realised she was dead.
Days had passed, Ji yeong couldn't believe it, she was free, The game was over.
But all Ji Yeong was now was a ghost.
She had watched every other round, supporting Sae-Byeok, watched her win the glass game, watched her when she was pulling the glass out of her stomach crying in pain, and watched as she was stabbed in the neck by sang-woo.
Ji yeong had thought she was stupid for not asking for help about her stomach. It wasn't fair. Sae-Byeok had won the round fair and square. And if she wasn't already dying she could have defended herself from Sang-woo and won the stupid game.
But no, Sae-Byeok had to be stubborn, But that's what Ji Yeong loved about her. Sae-Byeok was her own person, She wasn't a sheep who follows everyone else. She had her own rules. She Invited Ji Yeong to the game even though Sang-woo had said no more girls. She wasn't afraid and that's what Ji Yeong admired.
If anyone deserved to win, it would have been Sae-Byeok.
Ji Yeong Believed in Her until the end.
She waited and waited after her death.
Ji Yeong wouldn't have left the place without her, she would have waited a hundred years and she'd wait a million more for her.
She Waited for her to walk around the corner.
but the past would never be the same again.
And finally she did.
