She started walking towards where I was hiding and said "Me to know and you to find out."she smirked and I ran into the room before she noticed I was hiding.
"We're leaving now. Come Elle. We'll show you how much you have missed these couple hundred years." My thoughts were racing. How did she survive,she was only a witch,not a vampire.

"I was running after my twin sister,Damina. It was a week after our 21 birthday. She was married and had a beautiful little son who was 6 at the time. We were laughing and joking and we started playing like the boys in our tight corset dresses,and we ended up in a unfamiliar spot. We claimed it as our safe heaven. In case anything was wrong ,if we were sad,needed to be alone,or even just thinking. That was our spot to go. We went there for months-sometimes together-before I met Lucy. When I did meet her, it was a medical thing since she was a nurse,but soon we became great friends that told each other everything....like being a witch. Soon after I believed her,I was interested in what she could do. She told me everything. I tested her limits and asked to be protected from harm. Not immortality. She wanted me to be safe forever since she was,still is.That's how I was turned." I informed all that followed Lucy,which was only 3 but they were all powerful.
"How did you survive all these years?" I questioned her.
"There is a spell that preserves me while I sleep for a decade or so years."
That makes sense...I guess.
"Well it was fun to catch up,but I have things to do. School,friends,projects." I said thinking of my boyfriend. "See you when I do."
I walked away. I have a good sense of when I'm being lied to.I looked back for one second and she had a smirk on her face that signified she was hiding something and I intended on finding out what.
When I got home, I couldn't sleep for the next day. I was so excited that i finally saw Lucy again that it was impossible to sleep. Good thing I didn't have any tests the next day.
I get to school and I see Alex,Marcus,Mel, and Jack watching me. The bell finally rang and I walked to my next class not realizing I had the next class with two of them, Marcus and Jack.
"Hey. Elle right?"questioned jokingly Jack.
"Yeah why?" I responded.
"I'm Jack.The weird one of the four you see." He smiled big. I nodded in a way that said I don't care but he kept talking until Marcus cut him off.
"Listen we need to talk later.Lunch?...Good,see you then." He answered for me before I could say anything.
The next few classes were fine. Then I had to face lunch with weird and the other 3. I didn't want to but i had a feeling they could help. I walked up to their table and sat down next to Alex.
"That hasn't changed"Alex said smiling. I had a look of confusion for a split second,and that made Alex's smile fade a little. I shook my head to snap out of the daze I was in.
"What did u need me for?" I questioned sternly.
"We need you to talk to Lucy,and get her the hell out of here. There are people who want all vampires,witches,werewolves,ghouls, anything supernatural to stop existing. Lucy is bringing that unwanted attention here by killing people and making it look like 'insanity' acts." Marcus stated as if he couldn't wait to get to the point
"You think I can do that? I've always listened to her not the other way around." I responded after a second of surprise.
"But she does trust your judgment." Alex projected.
"No. No. I'm sorry but I can't help." I stand and walk away to leave the cafeteria but as soon as I get to the door Mel stands in front of me with one hand starting to reach towards me.I kind of feared what she could do. Every vampire is different,especially how they are turned. The familiar feeling I get from them was telling me to not let her touch me. So to avoid any other unwanted attention I just went back to their table and listened.
"There is something else you would want to know." Jack finally spoke up.
"You don't remember us but we are your friends."
I stopped and looked up at him.
"Impossible. I don't.....can't forget things."
They all gave me that special friend look. Each look was different. Marcus looked as if annoyed, Mel looked friendly, Alex looked as if she was my sister, and Jack looked like he annoyed me and knew it.
"Do you even remember your power?"asked Mel.
"Of course I do......all of them." I smirked at the fact I had more powers than the average vampire. All vampires can run fast,are very strong,could read minds when the mind is vulnerable, and can compel people to do anything. I don't know why I have more but I like them all. I can sense emotions and use it against anyone, and I could affect the light. Most vampires only have 1 gift,while I kept gaining more over the decades and I had the feeling that wouldn't be the last power I was to gain.
"Prove it. After school...you'll know where" Alex challenged as she got up to leave.
Leaving the lunchroom was not fun. Everyone is in your way, no one wants to move,and people start pushing and shoving. When I got really frustrated I saw the person in front of me get pushed to the side slightly. They looked confused and I looked around trying to see what caused it,but I kept walking and went to my last class.
