Chapter 3:Remember

After class I walked around campus and caught Alex's scent. A few feet away I saw them all waiting for me out of sight of normal people. They disappeared from my sights and I followed them.

When I got there, it was woody but had space. It wasn't the woods,more like an experiment and research area for science labs.Marcus was leaning against a tree. His beautiful hazel eyes just glared at where I was while his light brown hair was flowing with the wind and some of his hair staying against the tree. Mel was standing next to Jack. Mel is holding onto his arm lovingly and Jack holds her hand thats placed on his arm.Alex looked ready to pounce.

"Better remember what I can do,or this will hurt a lot." she smirked.

She stood still and the way she stood reminded me of something. What was it?

She stood in front of me,ready to show me what her power was. It was actually impressive. She could teleport things, not her but things. She teleported twigs,then rocks,then full branches. They all hurdled towards my head,some hit me and others didnt. It hurt indeed but I quickly learned how to dodge.

I remembered by her stance. It was always the same when it came to fighting . "You remember?" She questioned. I simply smirked and prepared myself. Her technique was the same and still in my head. Little things and gradually getting heavier. When she hurtled a twig at me I blocked it. I blocked every single thing.....except a rock. It landed on my leg breaking a bone. I winced at my pain quietly as I threw the rock off and snapped the bone back in place. she smiled at me,then said "You never were impressed by that. At least you remember." She helped me up and I shocked her,in both ways. The second she took my hand her face changed. Surprise was smacked across her face along with pain. I shocked her. Little by little I started to remember the rest of my gifts and who they were.

Everyone else stood and watched our whole "fight". The same shock that went across her face went through all of theirs when they found out what happened.

"Where did that come from?" Everyone asked in unison as Alex pulled her hand back.

"Umm..I don't know. I guess after you guys left since you don't know about it."

I knew that I once knew them, but didn't know how I had forgotten them. I didn't bring it up because it might start that memory lane thing and I didn't want that.

Marcus was not on the tree anymore. He looked like his normal annoying self,not looking surprised at all. He just had his hands in his pockets observing what we did. Jack and Mel both unlinked arms to see exactly how it happened. When they got to me they asked for me to do it again. So I asked for a log, and Alex being funny teleported one towards my hand.

"Catch."

I caught it as it seemed to miss my hand but my speed out did gravity. Holding it in my hand I shocked it at a low voltage and when I shock things, you can see my veins change to a light blue. I increased the voltage and the log burst making a few cuts on my hand that healed instantly.

"Impressive." was all Marcus had to say. He always seemed to hate me and I couldn't figure out why. Did I do something from the last time I knew him.

We all soon left and I got ready for the next day.I did my homework,my chores, and took my shower. Since I didn't have parents I lived alone, I might want to get a room mate....one day but for right now I have other things to worry about.

I laid down on my bed and got comfortable. Soon after I fell asleep.

~•Dream/memory•~

My sister's husband was tall,had light brown hair and dreamy hazel eyes. He was so proper I couldn't stand it sometimes. He was never impressed. Though he always was smiling and making Damina laugh. He was good for her. After awhile they had a little boy, Henry. He was 6. Then I figured out Lucy had a plan for one of her enemies....my distraction. She made a plan to get rid of my family. Everything was starting to come back to me now.

I woke up the next day and got ready for school. I spent more time with my new remembered friends. I told them I remember everything we did so they would believe me. We met when I turned 22,after my turn. Turns out me and Alex were the closest practically sisters, I had that feeling from the start. Marcus turned out to be my brother-in-law. When I remembered who Marcus was, I also remembered Damina and Henry. Henry was taken and Damina disappeared. Marcus had a right to be mad at me because it was my fault. I was careless in my new life and lead vampire hunters to all of us. Lucy forced Marcus to drink my blood while she prepared for me to forget her activities that night and any recollection of my friends. My life with them was over the second I turned.
