Laying down on my rough bed after, the exhausting training session, my bond laying on my pillow. It's been two years since I first entered this god damn castle, and its going to be soon after this when I escape. Training with Tess and Vansey improving my skills on the daily. Looking at the roof all the memories come flooding into my mind.

-Flashback-

"Hey Tess today we are going to train on your augmenting skills with certain elements." I said with a some what cheerful tone.

Getting a reply almost immediately. "Art, didn't we already do this?"

"We did augmentation with raw mana. Now we are doing this with certain elements, like you wind element." I replied making sure all of my word got through to her. I continued with the basic theory of elemental mana manipulation. "Alright Tess let us get this show on the road."

(little training time skip.)

"Art! Art, I did it! Look!" Tess erupted in a joyful burst. She started doing the technique I taught her.

"Great job Tess, you did amazingly. Managing to grasp not only the theory but the technique that could take season adventurers years. Yet you learned it in a week, can't say I'm not impres-"

Before I could finish off my sentence, something ran into my side. I looked down only to see the gunmetal grey haired girl pressing on my side with her arms wrapped around me. "Thank you Art."

I could do nothing but smile as I looked down and returned the hug.

-Different flash back-

As I helped the young prince get dressed for the auction event I couldn't help but hope he was going to get a bond more appealing to him then my bound. I still hated him none the less but he was a spoiled child he didn't know any better.

"I would have never thought that a lowly slave would get a bond before me. Even though it does look lack luster." Scoffed the prince jealously evident in his voice

Thankfully he didn't know the beast that Sylvie really was, a dragon. The only reason i have her is because of her mother Sylvia...

"But Tess you are looking as good as ever. Why don't you go out with me then ill be able to get you out of slavery."

My eye brows twitch. 'get out of slavery, really! this bastard knows nothing.' I look over to Tess who is feeling uncomfortable. Seeing this I decided to become a Alpha male and I poured a little blood lust at the prince. Enduring the pain, I stood up only to see the prince with pee soaking his trousers.

-Different flash back-

I entered the arena packed to the brim with spectators all hoping to see guts fly. As much as this disgusted me I had to do it. The reason is because of the way these tournaments were set up. People would make bets and the winnings were evenly distributed outwards, 40% the betters, 55% the royal family, and 5% to the winning slave. Below the stands was a burley man with blond hair styled of that to chonmage style, and a symmetrical face laced with a sinister grin. Two Great swords making their home on his back

"Ho this is too easy, I'm fighting a child. They're practically throwing money at me."

I grabbed my daggers out of their holsters, and get in a offensive stance, waiting for the man to rush. Then he did, running at me at a slow pace. i followed suit. As we met in the middle he swung his two giant swords at me hoping to end it off there. Little did he know that this is a skill i picked up in my past life. Flipping through his swords like a gymnast, I attempted to slice off his fingers. I only ended up nicking them, but damage is damage. With a shocked looked on his face his lips started to form into words, before anything could come out I continued my assault my attacks faster and more precise then the last.

Thinking he was smart he decided to jump out of my reach, he lowered his stance a bit. Giving me the perfect chance to throw a dagger right in between his eyes. Just like that the fight was over. The crowed cheering with glee, the similarities to my past life were uncanny. I needed to get out of there.

-Flashbacks end-

Closing my eyes with a smile on my face knowing that soon, we will get out of this hell hole. We will get to meet our families again. My smile faded knowing that we will probably never see each other again after we separated, but I was content with the time we have had.
