We walked around the entrance hall, where there were a bunch of photographs hanging on the wall.

"Chaeyeon look at these old pictures!" I exclaimed. She walked over and had her mouth open in shock.

I looked at each photo, noticing one of a woman in a dress, sitting in a chair in what seemed to be a parlor.

"Chae, there's this odd picture of a beautiful woman here." I pointed.

Looking over, she looked amused. "Koko, don't take this in a wrong manner, but this woman looks just like you."

I was so confused. "No way, I don't look anything like her."

"Ok, if you take a picture of the woman, we can show it to someone and they can give an opinion." She challenged.

"Fine."

I took a photo of the woman, but after, a loud bang took place. Flashing our phone lights, it looked like novels from a bookshelf had fallen over.

"Uhhh... Isn't it strange that both times we took a picture of something, there's a disturbance?" Chaeyeon asked.

I laughed. "Oh please. I think we need to get some proper lights. Let's go."

---

Later on in my house, I was wiping off my makeup when I decided to look at the photo of the woman I took.

Opening my phone, I was shocked to see that the picture came out pitch black. Groaning, I looked in the mirror and got an idea.

Staring straight into the mirror, I whispered...

"Candyman...

Candyman...

Candyman....

Candyman..."

I took a deep breath.

"Candyman."

Nothing happened. I laughed to myself.

"Stupid myth, not me thinking he'd actually appear." I threw my makeup towelette in the trash and went to bed.

The next day, I went back to Suga's place.

"So what exactly is the whole story of this candyman anyways?" I asked as I pet his dog.

"I actually feel really bad for him in a way. You s-" His words were cut off by a crash outside.

Suga got up and ran to the window, seeing the cars in the intersection had crashed. He looked worried.

"You know, I shouldn't say anything."

"Why?"

"For my own safety, for all of our safety, don't talk about him or his backstory. It'll hurt us all."

---

Walking outside, I went towards the woods when a kid stopped me.

"Miss, please don't go in there." She plead.

I turned around and saw a little girl.

"Why not?..." I asked.

"Last time someone walked on his property, Candyman tore him in half and hid each half of the body miles from each other."

I took a deep breath and crouched down.

"Sweetie, that's just a story, please don't be afraid."

She cocked her head. "Why?"

"Because. He isn't real."
