Carries POV

Mum got a phone call early this morning of Tom. He said that abbie had been in a accident and was now in intensive care. I was so scared. We all were.

We drove down to the hospital pretty quick and we found Abbies room. However I had to face danny. I didn't want to after what he'd done with abbie.

"Carrie!" Tom said "mum, Dad."

He hugged us and we saw the state off abbie. She was in a bad way.

"Are you Mrs fletchers parents?" Doctor said

"Yes." dad said

"okay well I'd appreciate it if you didn't all crowd. she needs to get better. Keep the numbers low. Okay!" He snapped walking off.

"He's an arsehole!" Danny snapped standing up. "you guys stay here I'll go."

He walked off and I felt bad on him. Tom went after him and I stayed.

Mum kept talking to her as dad calmed her down. Every now and then if chip in but I found it hard.

"I'm gonna go get a drink. Do you want anything?"

They both shuck their heads and I walked into the canteen.
I grabbed a coffee and sat with Tom and danny.

"You two alright?"

"Yeah." Tom said "you?"

I nodded and danny looked dead.

"It's all my fault. If I hadn't messed her around with everything with Georgia ... she wouldn't of gone to Bolton and would of be driving."

"It's not your fault. You didn't drive the lorry. You wernt in the car." Tom said

"It's not danny." I said and I could see how hurt he was. He honestly loved her.

Toms phone rang so he left.

"I feel awful carrie. I wish it was me in there not her. You hate me for everything I know. But I do want abbie."

"I can see. But it's her you need to be persuading not me. She really loved you."

"I know and I was a knob to not see it."

"Go back and sit with her for a bit but maybe it's best if you go home and have a sleep? We will get harry to drive you home."

"Okay. But I carnt leave her."

"We don't know how long she's going to be like this. It's the best thing. Have you eaton?"

"Half a sandwich."

"Right well have a few minuites with abbie whilst I ring harry."

He nodded and we walked up to where abbie was with my parents and tom.

James Bourne then walked in.

"James? What you doing here." Tom said

"How is she?" He asked looking at her.

"Not good."

"Not surprised. Her car was a mess."

"What?" Danny said

"I saw it." james said "I got her out the ditch."

"This man was with the paramedics. He called for an ambulance and helped her." the doctor said "if he hadn't been there she would of died on scene."

We all hugged james thanking him over and over.

"Thank you james." dad said "thank you."

"Don't be. How long have you to been here?" He asked Tom and danny.

"All night." Tom said

"New you would. I'll take you home then come back. If that's okay?" James said "I don't have too."

My dad then stood up and walked over to james and put his arm round him.

"James your always welcome. You and Matthew are both part of our family. but what you have done is amazing. Thank you. You don't have to stay but your always welcome."

"Thanks. I'll just drop you two off at home as you can relax then. I will be back because I need to know what's going on."

"Okay." danny nodded.

They then all left and james did return about an hour later.
