Chapter 5: War of the Best

  At Marineford, the fight was on. Whitebeard's men had been fighting the navy to save Ace for about half an hour. Then, the ship that Luffy's falling from falls from the sky. But, let's take a break from that right now.

   Currently, we're on Buggy the Clown's ship. Since Buggy was taken into custody, Alvida had taken charge.
The crew was begging her to take them to marine Ford to save Ace and Buggy. "Why should I?" She asked, boldly, "Nothing there interests me." Then, someone spoke up. "Actually, there might." "Hn?" "Ace is Luffy's brother. He's probably there right now."

  Alvida stood up swiftly. "Head to Marineford!" She shouted, "We're helping Luffy!" Then, they sailed to Marineford.

   Back to the fight, Luffy's ship fell from the sky, and all hell broke loose. Everyone started fighting, other than buggy and his new makeshift crew, who went to hide.

  Luffy started to fight, and Hancock saw a glimpse of who was against him. A marine Captain, whi was currentlyslashing at him. So, she deflected it with her heel, with very little effort. Many men around listed over her, and she instantly turned them to stone. Many of the people with Luffy, inmates and Whitebeards, were afraid for his life. "Honey! Are you alright!?" Hancock ran to Luffy and hugged him, shoving his head in her breasts. "I'm doing good! How are you, Hanock?"

   Hancock then has a fantasy of her getting married to Luffy.

  "I do! I accept your proposal!" "Eh? To what?" A paw of air was launched at Luffy, and deflected by Hancock's glare. "You disgusting, insolent man!" Bartholomew was standing there. As it turns out, he was fully converted to a robot.

  A little more fighting, and Buggy's ship arrives on the scene. Alvida, iron club in hand, struts onto the battlefield. Everything slides off of her.  Then, she spots Luffy, and struts up to him with elegance. "Luffy dear." "Huh?" He turned around. "Who are you!?" "Oh? Am I forgotten again? Well, that a shame. I'll never forget how good it felt when you hit me." "Hmmm......" Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. "Oh! Alvida!"

   "Who. Is. She?" A posse doff Hancock struts up to Alvida. "How dare you talk to my husband as if he were your own!" "Your husband? I bet you don't even know where he's from or how..... good it feels to be hit by him." They both glared bolts of lightning at each other. Then, they started fighting.

  Many fighting moments later, and after a descendant of Oars showed up, Luffy gets launched over the massive wall that was raise faith a mast in his arms. He fights some admirals, and the captains try and deal with him. Then, the execution started.

The guards raised their swords. "No." They positioned them against each other by Ace's neck. "Stop." They rose their swords, and were swinging down. "I SAID

  

STOOOOP!"

A large wave of Conquerors' haki was blasted, and knocks out all the marine captains and the executioners, leaving only the admirals, Sengoku, Garp, Ace, and the other pirates that could stand it standing. The scissors human lifted A road for Luffy to climb. He climbed it, knocked out Garl when he got in the way, and fought Sengoku. He eventually undid Ace's cuffs, and they fell.

   "You always had the dumbest ideas......  Luffy!" "Ace!" The brothers fell, and they were overcome with joy. They landed straight up and surrounded. Luffy absorbed all the bullets and fired 'em back, and Ace dealt with the swords. But a man with a mace made through and attacked luffy, hitting him in the shoulder blade. But, Luffy's shoulder and shoulderblade turned to poison.

  "When's you get that ability?" "I dunno! Just kinda happened." Navy officers stood in shock. "He- He has two devil fruit powers!"

  This revelation spurred Akainu to finish up his fight with Whitebeard. So, he punched a hole in his stomach and and ended up accidentally burning off a bit of his head.

  Akainu rushed at Luffy, ready to kill. But, in a spur of the Moment decision, time slowed down.

   Ace quickly moved in front of the fist, taking the damage and saving what he could of himself by turning to fire. But, some magma still came through and burnt Luffy. "A-Ace." "Sorry, Luffy. Guess I couldn't se eyou become the Pirate King. But, I know you can. And I know these are my last moments here. So, thank you. Thank you for loving me as your brother. Thank you for accepting me. Thank you, Whitebeard, for taking me as your son." Tears rolled down his face. "THANK YOU!" 

   "N-No.... don't go..... please, you need to-" "Luffy. Take my power. I won't need it where I'm going."

     Shock enveloped the younger brother, as his hand was engulfed in translucent blue flames that pulled Ace's flames into himself.

   Finally, Ace's best necklace broke, and fell to the ground, and he died. "AAAAAAAAACE!" Everytjing but Luffy's head turned to fire, and grabbed everything it could. Marine captains, low level pirates, but most importantly, Akainu. The Toru-Toru no mi's flames were summoned on these tendrils and stole abilities from the rest. Swordsmanship, archery, gunslinging, their abilities were pulled. But, most importantly, a magma Akainu wa spilled from the admiral and was absorbed by Luffy.

  Jimbei grabs Luffy and his hat and runs, and Crocodile, Hancock, Alvida, and the new Kamas followed. They found refuge on the Heart Pirates shipmarine (ship + submarine). Then they were off to an island, for Luffy to heal.

   Then, Jimbei helps through Luffy's emotions, and Reigley starts to train Luffy. Luffy leaves his treasure in the only safe spot on the island to learn to use haki.
