My angel,
It's week 10 on your amazing little journey. So far you are as healthy as can be at 10 weeks for a fetus. Still no picture yet. But just a little less than a week and we will see you.
My hopes for daddy coming around have failed. We broke up, officially. His childish ways led to even worse behavior. He refuses to have anything to do with us. It's hard, but you will always have mommy and my side of your family.
You may not know daddy in your younger years, but as you grow old enough to understand, mommy will be more than willing to let you contact daddy. You deserve to know him, even if he's not around in the beginning.
Aunt sherry brought you over a bassinet, and grandpas friend chuck brought over a cute car seat. The car seat will be used for when u are bigger, aunt sherry has a smaller one for you to come home in.
Today was hard for grandpa and grandma, as well as mommy and uncle Ricky. Today was the one year anniversary of my grandpas passing. Your great grandpa would have loved you just as much as your grandparents do already. He was a kind hearted and very humorous old man. He would always make people smile.
When you are old enough, mommy will show you her baby videos so you can see for yourself. You will hear so many stories about him as you are growing up.
Mommy got your first form of ID in the mail. It's an insurance card for when you arrive. So the doctors will take care of us both. I'm starting to get things ready, and we have just a little over 6 months left until you are finally here!
When I told your uncle Ricky(my 20 year old brother) that I was pregnant, he was shocked. He wasn't quite sure how grandma and grandpa handled it so well. Grandma told him "she is two years older than I was when I had her, I'm glad she waited and was careful until she finished school" I honestly thought they would hate me, but they already love the fact that you are joining us soon.
Your due 2 days before my grandfathers birthday. If you are a girl you will be named Peyton Helen Rose Curtis(Helen after your great grandma Helen)or Nevayah Jasmine Curtis(jasmine after my best friend who passed in 2013)If you are a boy, there is only one name. Raymond Charles Curtis II, after your great grandfather.
Giving you the name of the greatest man in my life, gives me the greatest pleasure.
Mommy is heading to bed now. We have an early morning with daddy's surgery.
