"Adii" Hermione shouted whilst shaking her older sister awake.
Adi yawned and eventually woke up, at least partly woke up
"Look what i got!" Hermione said a little calmer this time but still waving what she had in her hand around. Addalyn looked at the ripped old piece of paper and read the words handwritten on the front.

"A wizard school?" Adi thought out loud
"yep!" said Hermione
" Right very funny."
"It's truee"
The two went on like that for ages until mr and mrs Granger came in and confirmed that it was very true that their 'special little girl' as they now called her was in fact a magical being and they were the most proud they had ever been in their life which of course whilst crushing Adi's soul as they had never spoken about her like that also made her happy that everyone else was and that her sister was going to have the best of her memories at this school besides she would come home at the end of the day anyways.

"A boarding school!?" Adi half shouted half asked.
"I will come home at Christmas and the summer holiday." Hermione pleaded
"I know but..."
"I'll be fine. Besides it's not like there is gonna be some dude trying to kill us all and take over a school."
"I know you will be fine but what about me the only friends i have live ages away and i can hardly ever meet them because their parents are so strict and how will I live knowing you're off doing fancy magic tricks whilst i'm at home doing maths homework??" Adi said very quickly so by the time she finished she was so out of breath she could hardly say anything else.

I do know that Hermione did not get Crookshanks in her first year but i think it goes better with my story so i'm going to do that.

Hermione and her parents had gone shopping to get Hermione stuff for school. They just got home and showed Adi a beautiful owl.
"We decided to get you something because we know how disappointed you have been as you didn't get a letter so we got this." her mum said.

Hades - which is what she decided to call him - was a very good looking brown owl with marks on his eyes that made it look like he had eyeliner on. He had a small beak and deep golden eyes that always had a shimmer in them. He was only young, not even a year old so would most likely look even more majestic as he got older. Apart from the fact that now she had company whenever Hermione went to Hogwarts they could send letters to each other which Crookshanks (Hermione's cat) definitely could not and would not do.

I will make the other parts longer and probably more interesting but this was basically just a prolouge sort of and i think the next bit will start in year 3 or 4 and Adi will meet some of hermione's friends
