Addalyn Granger

The burrow

Hermione had just got back from Hogwarts and extremely excited as soon she and Adi would be going to meet her friends because had been invited to the burrow for a few days. 

"Its taking ages are we there yet?" Adi groaned from the seat next to Hermione and a very angry looking Crookshanks that was almost staring into her eyes with agression and hatred                       ( Crookshanks had hated her ever since she had decided to try one of the spells from Hermione's spell book in her second year at Hogwarts and as Adi was not a witch it went wrong and instead of simply turning him purple which she thought would give Hermione a fright the cat had ended up turning completely invisible for two weeks which resulted in them all thinking he was dead and not putting out any food with a few other instances on top of that).

"Actually instead of for the last 50 times you have asked we are here." The girls dad had replied.

They drove their car into a space just outside a ruined old house that looked like it had extra rooms built on top to add more space but there was a field and a beautiful lake with mandarins ,beautiful ducks with bright colours and distinctive bird like calls, perched on top of the water and around it. There were trees around it and one with a swing made from an old worn tire and a bit of rope that looked like it had beed used many times but was still only just persevering.

I do know that this is not 100 percent accurate but i will do the same more i'm sure i am going to slightly change it to make it more my own work and fit my storyline better.

Just as Hermione was about to knock on the door to the burrow the door opened and a woman immediately stepped out and hugged her.

"You must be the girl that my ronniekins was so fondly talking about, lovely to meet you dear."

Hermione blushed ever so slightly but just enough for Adi to see and smirk at.

"Nice to meet you to mrs weasly." Hermione said with a bit of awkwardness as neither Hermione or Adi were the most talented when it came to meeting new people.

"Oh please call me molly dear."she replied "And you must be her sister Addalyn was it?" she then said kindly.

"Yes but you cal call me Adi, everyone does." She wasn't sure if she should have said the last bit as it could come off rude but the woman just smiled at her warmly and welcomed her in the house.

Just before they cold go inside mrs Granger mentioned that the girls should get their bags and then both mr and mrs granger would leave Mione and Adi with the weasly's for the week. So as Adi pulled out her last bag from the car she closed the door of the boot and said goodbye to her parents just before they left t go back home.

"WAKE UP RON!" Hermione shouted as Adi awkwardly stood in the doorway not having ever met either of these boys but certainly knew a lot about them from Hermione's stories about the adventures she had with them, how she would love to go on adventures like her sister did and save people fight evil and have great friends like her sister did, she secretly hated her for being able to have these opportunities and experiences but she could never tell Hermione, she would take it to heart as she was quite an emotional person and yet refused to admit it.

(Adi's pov)

"Yeah why did we have to wake up so early I was excited to get to sleep in and then I get woken up at 6 o clock in the bloody morning." announced the boy who had earlier introduced himself as Ron Weasly (of course i knew who he was already he was famous in the granger house, Hermione wouldn't stop yammering on about how he was an amazing friend and although he seemed quite thick he was extremely loyal and kind) had said after Harry -Hermione's other friend who apparently was more of a celebrity than anything else to most people in the wizarding world- had asked Hermione (much nicer than Ronald had might i add) why they had been woken up so early.

"It was not six o clock Ronald you are being far too dramatic." Hermione added.

 "Even though I had only been with the Weaslys for about half an hour I had gotten used to Ron and Hermione's bickering with each other like a married couple quite quickly.

"Hello Amos!" We finally heard mr Weasly speak words that weren't shouting at Ron to 'hurry up and get ready or they would be late'

"Its about time son!"

"Sorry some of us woke up a bit late" mr Weasly said gesturing to Ron.

"Will he ever shut up about Ron waking up late." I jokingly asked harry who had actually got along with me after me not being too nice to him as i assumed he would be stuck up and arrogant but he is really quite a nice person despite my original thoughts.

Harry just replied with a snort and said "no clue."

We carried on walking and made our way to a boot, everyone grabbed onto it so i did the same as it was probably some wizard magic thingy.
