Chapter 04

Elaine always set an alarm for school but the thing is she just never woken up because of it. She'd always been a deep sleeper. So every morning for school either Will or Hopper had to come and try to wake her up which is what Will was attempting to do right now.

"Hello!" He said banging the two stainless steel pans against each other. Will sighed as he walked back to the kitchen to put the pans back. This was just another one of his failed attempts to wake her up. He's tried water, tickling and loud noises.

Will walked back to her room to see her sitting in bed with the blankets wrapped around her like E.T staring at the floor. Will rolled his eyes. "School starts in 30 minutes Ivez" he says going to his room to change.

El groaned before sluggishly getting out of bed and started picking out her clothes for school. El didn't really care about her appearance much she didn't really think about what people thought of her and to be honest she didn't care. So most of the times when she would get stares in the halls when she was wearing sweatpants to school she tried her best to ignore it.

She threw on a black spaghetti strap tank top, jeans, a black zip up hoodie and some white Air Vorces. She left her hair in the same messed up bun she had put it in last night. She brushed her teeth, washed her face put on her glasses and was ready to go.

10:45 am

El sighed as she looked back to the front of the class. History wasn't a bad subject it was actually interesting to el some times but most of them she didn't it just wasn't her favorite subject.

"Ok so our assignment for today will be poetry. It doesn't have to be your own poetry but I just want you guys to create a poetry letter it can be about love, hate, even about your day" Ms.Dyer said before speaking again. "I would like it on paper but if you'd like to turn it in through computer that's fine too"

"When is it due?" El asked. Ms. Dyer smiled at el before answering. "It'll be due next Monday" el nodded before the bell rang for lunch. "Bye guy's hope you have a great rest of your day" Ms. Dyer said before students flooded out of the room.

"Hey mike" Lucas said taking his seat beside him. "Hey Lucas" he said before going back to fiddling with his fingers. "Did you ever get my number I texted you like ten times this week?" Lucas asked. "Nope I forgot it when I got home sorry" Mike halfway lied before Lucas took out a piece of paper and pen and wrote his number down and handed it to him.

Mike thanked Lucas before Mr. Harrington walked into the classroom and soon after Dustin. "Hey guy's" Dustin said sitting beside them. "Hey" the both said before Mr. Harrington started the lesson.

"Hello and welcome back to science class!" He started before the party started having their own conversation in the back.

"We're still meeting at the skate park after school right?" Dustin questioned, "I can't my mom's going to be at work till 7" Mike said. "Holly can come we don't mind" Lucas said. "I'll think about it" was the last thing Mike said before actually paying attention to the lesson.
