Let's start off with some basic facts that most people know.
1. Pentatonix is an a Capella group of 5 friends, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola.
2. Pentatonix started off as just a trio of Scott, Kirstin, and Mitch.
3. The trio added Avi then Kevin to make an a Capella group to enter in "The Sing Off"
4. They won "The Sing Off" in 2011
5. There first YouTube video was Moves Like Jagger and they filmed it on Mitch's iPad.
6. They do covers along with some original music.
7. They have 8 million subscribers on there YouTube channel as of May 2015.
8. They have done concerts all over the world.
9. Scott came up with the name Pentatonix, but Kevin usually has to explain the meaning if it.
10. One person that they just can't do covers of, because it doesn't sound good, is taylor swift. (they said this in an interview, but they love her so much.)
