It had been six years since Erawan and Maeve were defeated, the kingdoms of Erilea were repaired mostly but the people were still healing. Normally, during the day you could find Aelin with her people helping them, giving them assistance in anything they needed. But not today, no, today was different. Today they would welcome the Heir of Terrasen into their still mending world.

From the moment that Rowan had found out about his unborn child he had immediately attempted to isolate Aelin from everyone, and considering what happened with Lyria, Aelin didn't mind. Every now and then she would get annoyed and they'd argue but  at the end she would do as he asked. During the day Rowan would allow only the members of the Queens court into their chambers and even then they wouldn't be tolerated for long. Unless of course they were Lysandra who, when she wasn't caring for her two year old son, took to curling up by Aelin's feet in the form of a ghost leopard. The blonde haired fae was never left alone, she was always kept company by Rowan, Lysandra or on occasion- Yrene.

It was early in the morning when Aelins water broke, Rowan had just left to perform his duties and Lysandra was keeping watch over her dear friend when Aelin gasped feeling the liquid on the bed sheets. As if something in her had snapped she ordered Lysandra to get Yrene and Rowan. It didn't matter what they were doing so long as they were there.

It took Eight Long hours for The babe to finally be brought into the world, the moment she was free from her mother's stomach she let out a strong and hearty cry only ceasing the dreadful sound when her father took her into his arms. "Asrea," he had name her, giving her the name of his mother. As if accepting the honour of the name, Asrea opened her eyes and looked at her father grabbing his nose and gurgling.
