Being escorted through halls Alex had yet not seen before his breathing becomes almost erratic and strained, "gaaahhhh, oh fuck my head!" Alex screams falling to his knees as visions resembling memories flash before his eyes. "Get out of here, they are beginning to suspect." A soldier to Alex's left whispers, "who are you? Am I really here?" Alex asks urgently, the soldier stands Alex up, "Schnell!!!" He screams before pushing Alex down what now appeared to be a church hallway. Alex's breaks from the soldier's grip and dashes up the stairs, "the American! He's not safe either!" He shouts and the soldier responds with just a nod. As Alex climbs the stairs he begins to think to himself, "did I just speak German? Not time for that, who's the American? If not me..." as he reaches the top he stops to find an American sniper scouting his shot completely oblivious of what's about to happen. "Are you just gonna sit there or are you going to pick up your rifle Nazi defect." The soldier says so bluntly and coldly obviously not asking for Alex's participation, "we need to go there's a tank and they..." the church tower explodes at the floor where the two sat from an artillery shot via German tank. Laying in the rubble Alex attempts to regain composure with sounds fading in of screaming and a close but soft gurgling, as the dust settles he sees the American soldier just inches from his own face. Alex jumps to his fallen recent comrade only to be hit in the chest by a closed fist holding onto something, Alex grabs the soldier's hand to feel what he was being given was dog tags, "take me home brother." And with a soft sigh the light fades and Alex opens his eyes to see he is again strapped to a hospital bed and across from him written on a whiteboard "awareness 5, No.6, 30 days no incidents- may what god stands have mercy on our souls."
