"Mr. Black, do you know where you are?" Alex looks around a dimly lit room but sees nothing other than dusty furniture, damaged walls and a single intercom in the upper right corner of the room, "wha... what happened? Where am I?" Silence falls to only reveal the sounds of static, "No time for questions, you're alive and that's all that matters. You're safe Mr. Black, we need you and you're 'other' again... the only problem is we don't know where she is so find her." Alex tries to move and only finds he is bound to a table, "let me go you bastards!!! And stop calling that!!!" The intercom booms so loud Alex can feel the vibrations from across the room, "Shut the hell up Alexander! We know who you are, we know what you are.." Alex quickly cuts them off, "I don't even know what the ungodly fuck you're talking about... I just... I just... I wanna go home..." he begins to softly cry as he soon realizes he doesn't even know where home is, nor does he have recollection of what these strange people are talking about. A solid steel door slowly opens and a female figure walks through, "I know you do Alex... the world isn't the same after the tear in the threshold, you tried your best and you weren't alone... there was a girl with you and we fear she may be in danger." The woman bluntly states, "the two of you are our last chance at fixing what humanity did itself so long ago..." she looks at Alex and only gets a confused sob in reply, "you really have no clue who you are do you? Do you remember anything?" The feminine figure cautiously walks over and checks his pulse, "heart rate is irregular... you're scared? You? From what it seems you are more afraid of me than anyone is of you... what happened back there?" Alex quickly snaps back, "I dont fucking know, now stop asking me questions and let me out!!!" As Alex screams he feels his body temperature begin to rise and sees smoke lick the edges of his fingers before a painful sting races behind his eyelids and he falls unconscious. "Alex! We need to close it, we don't have much time just leave him!"
