Chapter 2

** Katrina's P.O.V **

"What happened...?" I mumble as I sit up

I was at my... old home? There was broken glass on the floor and on my toque, my head hurt.

"OH SHIT!" I exclaim, remembering what had happened.

I instantly rush out the door, not worrying about the broken glass. I start running down the street towards Janet and my home, I pass the bar on the way, our jeep was still in the parking lot?

"Shit!" I exclaim as I rush inside

"Hey you! Bartender!" I exclaim as I rush up to the counter

"Hello Mate, what can I do for ya?" The bartender asks

"Janet! Is she still here??" I ask

"Ah nah she left around 2:00 a.m. last night" The bartender answers

"Thanks for the help" I answer sarcastically as I rush back outside

I rush over to our jeep, Janet was curled up inside. She was in the back, her face burried into one of my hoodies. I knock on the window nervously

"Janet..?" I ask as I knock on the window again

"Katrina...?" Janet asks as she glances up at the window, tears were brimming her eyes.

"Janet can you open the door...?" I ask hopefully

Janet unlocks the door, I open the door. Janet doesn't move, I climb into the jeep and shut the door. I motion for Janet to sit next to me, she does but doesn't look at me.

"What's wrong love?" I ask as I wrap my arm around Janet's shoulder

"I..I'm sorry I made you mad..!" Janet apologizes as she burries her head into my chest and starts sobbing

"Mad? Janet I was never mad?" I answer, confusion in my tone as I start stroking Janet's back.

"Then why'd you leave...?" Janet asks

"I needed some time alone" I lie, Janet was upset enough as it was. I didn't want to upset her more

"Love me again...?" Janet asks nervously

"I never stopped loving you Jan" I smile as I kiss her head

"Y..you're sure you're not mad at me...?" Janet asks as she looks me in the eyes

"Da" I smile as I wipe Janet's tears away with my thumb

Janet snuggles closer to me, I smile slightly before I pull away. Janet looks at me with a confused expression, I climb into the drivers seat and start the car.

"We have to get home" I answer, I didn't want to cuddle with Janet right now...

"Oh shit! What time is it?!" Janet asks

"Relax Janet it's only... 1:45?!" I exclaim as I look at my watch

"OH SHIT! MARIE ARRIVES AT THE HOUSE IN 15 MINUTES!! DRIVE KAT DRIVE!" Janet exclaims as she jumps up front and buckles up

I speedily drive home, we arrive at exactly 2:00 p.m.. Janet quickly jumps out and runs inside, I do the same.

"You're finally back! Marie will be here any minute!" Nona exclaims

"Thanks for watching the kids Ma" Janet thanks Nona

"Any time, but I better get goin', I don't wanna be here when Marie arrives" Nona answers

"Niet don't leave me alone with-" I was cut off by the door being slammed as Nona leaves

"Her..." I sigh
