he lay there quiet, on the couch. with the type of hot coffee
in his hands - just like how she would like it.
it took him two bell rings to realize someone was there. he got up lazily to the door, he didn't even bother fixing his hair or his shirt which hung loose on his body – 'there's no point anymore' he told himself.
he opened the door and looked eye to eye with the one in front. he blinked and rubbed his eyes four times, but the person didn't change form. it was the same person from the first eye rub to the last one.
she's here.
"if i ever lie in the cold grass at night time. it will be to write the sonnets on the moon of how much i missed you"
he swallows, hard. rooted to the ground as his lips touch the softer ones. their world is spinning beside them. dizzy to the blood. she's breathing like she's the first human to grow wings and fly. his heartaches but his brain are storming with emotions. he felt like crying. and he did. as a tear rolled down his cheek. where he felt he'd lost someone forever, he never did.
he knew her well, he also knew how wicked her brain was without letting her know. and he forgave her.
held her hair in deep devotion, deepening it as deep as the pacific ocean.
she died when she felt the saltwater on her fingertips, he knew her too well.
"it's alright" he whispered finally letting go, yet still close.
"you disappear so completely in your head sometimes" he chuckled.
"i wish to follow you there"
she looked up at him. she wanted to yell at him. you do!! instead, she just sobbed.
"you live in my head all the time"
