Soldier's Pov

"Coming!" I yelled. I put the book away, and rushed to the sink to wash my hands. My dad was home, how do I know? Simple, he's a farmer. After I washed my hands, I rush to the kitchen. "Hi dad!" I say. "Hello son, are you hungry?" He asked. "Of course I am! Who wouldn't?" | "That's my boy!" He said. I got my plate of food, and was just about runing to the livingroom to watch T.V, but my mom stoped me before I could lift a finger. "Uh uh, you're eating in the dining room today!" She shouted. "Oh, nevermind." I said. I looked at the corn, it looked a little orange? Probably just my imagination.

I took a bite and I was out.

It wasn't home...? Where am I then? What is this place? Something was covering my eyes so I couldn't see, but I can tell this isn't home. I'm scared and I hear well nothing? Then someone took off the blindfold and yelled:"Surprise!" I looked up to see mom and dad. "What?" I asked. "We just wanted to scare you, sorry sweetheart." Dad said. "Okay?... Can I go to sleep now?" I asked. "Sure." My mom said. I walked out of the basement I didn't even know we had- and went inside my room. Oh and! Apparently I was wrong, I thought I wasn't home. Eh. It's still confusing.

I'm really sorry I haven't been posting, so I give you permission to rush me. I'm sorry it's short. Also, I'm sorry if I disappointed anyone by making his mom and dad be the ones that "kidnapped" him.
