"I'M NOT GETTING MARRIED, I DONT CARE WHAT THE REASON IS. I'M NOT GOING TO MATE WITH SOME STRANGER!"

"Peter calm down, listen to me. This marriage has been in the process for nineteen years, there's no way you can stop it. I don't care if you don't want to. Suck it up and just do it."

"It's easy for you to stay, you're not being forced to marry a stranger while you're already no allowed to go home, and forced to be around people who you dislike very strongly."

"PETER, listen to me. You need to grow up, not everything is going to go your way, so get over yourself and start taking care of this pack. As soon as you mate, we will then throw another ceremony were you will be deemed the new alpha."

"But, but...."

"NO BUTS."

"Arse." I whispered

"Werewolf hearing, remember that. If you do something like that in front of other alphas you'll gain new foes. We don't need any more foes."

My life could not get any worse. I was furious with my parents; apparently they had set up this marriage since before I was born. In fact I was conceived for this new allies' treaty. Years ago, my father and some other packs signed a pact to form new allies. They wanted physical representation of this treaty so they decided to all have kids, and mate the kids when the two male children were of the age to be Alpha.

The other alpha, Nathan Cram, and I were both of age to be alpha and were waiting for the alpha ceremony were we would both take our fathers places as alphas. I barely knew Nathan. He's a couple months older than me, son of the neighboring pack's alpha, and kind of cool, or so I heard. I was always hearing these great stories about him being a prodigy when it came to fighting. I could care less.

As for the females that we would be mating to, I had no idea as to who the hell they were. They were simply another pair of thoughts in my head. I didn't know what to image them as. Not that it mattered much; I don't plan on marrying anyone.

The only problem, I didn't know how to get out of here. They had guards all around the borders, as well as five guards who stuck to me like frickin parasites. Plus the pack made sure to keep an eye on me constantly, in fear of angering their alpha.

Slowly I got out of the seat I was sitting in and trudged out of my father's office. As soon as I closed the door I was flanked by those stinking pests. They were so annoying that I had decided to name them leech 1-5. I could care less what their names where. Slowly I walked back to my room and slumped on my bed. Leeches 1-4 stood in each corner and leech 5 stood at the door.

I fell asleep without even realizing it (time pass to three days later)

I woke up to see leech number 1-5 staring me down. Leech number one or captain leech was holding my outfit for today.

"Get up Pete, it's time to get ready for the visiting packs."

"Sir, Yes, Sir." I mocked. Over the past couple days I had gotten closer to the leeches just not enough to stop calling the leeches and start calling them by their actually names, which I now knew.

"Really? I thought we went over this, you don't need to call me sir."

"Sorry......Sir."

"Just get your ass out of bed and into the shower."

Today was the day the visiting packs would come. It was also the day that I had to pick a stranger to marry and spend the rest of my life with. Luckily Scott would be here, which I had to pull some strings to get. It sucked because since I was here, I had to cancel shows on my tour. It was the worst thing ever. In fact the only way to get my dad to let Scott be here was to promise I won't run away and act presentable while the ceremonies were going on and the visiting packs were here. So not fair.
