Rachel’s number one mission on that morning was: clean the apartment. Since Gabe left to live with Jack almost eight months ago, the place had only been cleaned up two or three times, so it was safe to say everything looked… Disgusting.

The dress she wore on the previous night was on a hanger on the doorknob, where she intended it to stay until she got enough money to pay for a dry cleaner.

She had been fired four nights ago. Still, Rach didn’t feel like Aaron had to know that. She would get another job… Eventually.

After three straight hours of scrubbing, throwing away and disinfecting, the two bedroom apartment looked… Livable. With another tired sigh, Rachel stretched all her body, trying to think about her next move.

Aaron had a training session all morning and apparently he had some “things” to do at night. All her friends weren’t speaking to her since she neglected them a bit after starting to date Ramsey and Gabe was probably working at the charity…

 Working.

Dialing the number she knew so well, Rachel said the most exciting hello as her friend answered the phone.

“Oh-oh. I know that tone… What do you want?” Gabe teased on the line.

“Well, remember five months ago, when on this exact same apartment where I stand right now you asked me for a favor?”

“Just one date! Until I can find someone that, you know… Actually wants to settle down. I’m begging you.” Gabriela batted her lashes, pouting.

“Fine.” Hissed Rachel “But just for the record, you owe me. Big

Rachel heard Gabe swallow hard and she laughed “It’s not that big deal, really… I just remembered you commenting with Bouchra that you needed some English teachers for the ABC Charity…”

“Yes” Gabe sighed “It’s so hard to find someone with patience enough to teach those poor little kids…

“Little kids?” Rachel almost groaned “It’s just that… The job at the pub isn’t working for me anymore, I feel like I have to do some more you know?” Her mind was running a thousand miles per hour. How could she convince Gabe…?

“Of course, that’s great Rach! You deserve a lot better than that stinking pub.”

“I’ve never told you, but I love kids.” Rachel lied “And being with Aaron has really gotten out the best of me” That wasn’t a lie, she realized.

Sure, at first she just wanted to impress him and make him need her, but now…

When she was with Aaron, she really tried to improve herself. Not because of whom he was – the amazing, incredibly famous Aaron Ramsey – but because of the person he was: always kind, generous and an ultimate gentleman.

“Okay…” Gabriela replied, the noise of pages turning quickly being heard on the background “When can you start? We have a class full of five year olds more than excited for learning.”

 “Tomorrow, if you want to.”

“Great! I’ll stop by the apartment later tonight to give you all the deets, yes?”

“Sure, no problem.” Rachel gave a relieved smile. One problem solved “Gabe, just one thing…”

 “Yes?
