Ji won sat on the kitchen stool as Seokhoon finished preparing the ramen. After she grieved, Seokhoon decided to cook for her to calm her down. ji won was watching his back and observed that Seokhoon's apron was not that tight, so she stood up and came to him, tying his apron, startling him, and turning around to face her. Their faces are only an inch apart, and their lips are almost touching. When they locked their gazes on each other's eyes, they felt as if their surroundings were moving in slow motion. The only thing they can hear is their heartbeats. The gazing contest was interrupted by a smartphone ringtone suggesting that someone was calling. Ji won initially paused the staring contest and cleared her throat She dashed to the table, where her cellphone was, and answered the call, leaving Seokhoon still stunned.
He clutched his left chest, where his heart was, and stared at Ji won, who was turning her back on him to take a phone call from Jenny. He grinned at random and continued to make the ramen for their dinner. While transferring the freshly cooked ramen to the other bowls, He smiled from ear to ear.
"Ji won, are you listening?: Jenny half-yelled to her on the phone" Ji won regained her composure and responded.
"w-what? ah yes, yes, I got it," she fumbled, causing Jenny to sigh.
"Yah, be careful huh, don't fall in love with him; I'm not saying you should stop loving and avoid him." I'm only saying that you need to protect your heart since I know it hasn't been healed yet. No more dramas, please. Just be cautious and contact me or Seon Kyung if Seokhoon decides to leave. "Did you got it?" Jenny stated that Ji won giggled and simply nodded, despite the fact that Jenny couldn't see her.
"ne eomma I understood," Ji won laughed, leading Jenny to laugh as well before hanging up the phone.
"Is that Jenny?" "Come on in, the ramen is finally ready." "You must like this stuff," Seokhoon stated as he placed two bowls of ramen and two boxes of chocolate milk drink from Ji won's fridge on the table.
"is that jenny? come here the ramen is finally cooked" seokhoon said as he put the two bowls of ramen onto the table and two boxes of chocolate milk drink that he saw in Ji won's fridge "you must like this chocolate milk drink? I saw a lot in the fridge" he smiled
"Thank you; sure, I enjoy chocolate milk drinks. So, how about you?" She questioned again as she sipped the noodles and stared at Seokhoon with a small pout in her eyes as she chewed the noodles on her lips.
"We are all the same. I enjoy chocolate milk drink as well "seokhoon responded
"Oh, when was the last time you rode your motorcycle? I mean, when did you begin? "she stated
"When I was in my third year of high school. My mother has been chastising me for not riding my motorcycle to school, and I recall her making me knelt with a grain of salt in the ground. But I'm obstinate, so I rode my motorcycle again; my father was proud of me at the time since I wasn't a baby when mum was worried "He laughed as he remembered his high school days and glanced at Ji won.
"I agree with your mother, it is dangerous for you to ride a motorcycle when going to school, not only going to school but also in other areas, so be careful, we don't know what might happen to you if you continue riding your motorcycle." Ji won triumphed despite her anxiety.
Seokhoon laughed "Are you, my mother? Thank you for your care, which I much appreciate "He smiled as he proceeded to eat his ramen.
Ji won randomly smiled as she observed him eating, 20 seconds passed as she observed him eating.....seokhoon noticed it and was stunned, he waved his hand in front of her, she blinked many times and looked everywhere to avoid his gaze, she cleared her throat and ate her ramen not looking at seokhoon, he chuckled on his thought and just decided to eat.
Rona insisted on washing the dishes after they finished eating because she stated, "Let me do it, you made me happy today, you didn't just listen to my horror story and my sobbing, you also prepared me supper, so just relax there before you leave." She stated that Seokhoon just followed her since she was in a severe mood.
Seokhoon looked out the huge glass window and noticed that it was storming. He then looked at his wristwatch and saw that it was already 7:30 p.m. He shrugged it off since he assumed it would go away sooner.
"seon woo-ah" hae won called her son as he gazes at the rain from his glass window's chamber, looking as if he is earnestly pondering.
Her mother patted his shoulder, causing him to recoil, and she noticed her mother gazing at her with a troubled face "Oh, Eomma. How long have you been standing there>?" He inquired again, crossing his arms in still looking outside the window
"right now Is there something upsetting you, son? You appeared to be immersed in thought "her mother questioned
"Do I really need to marry Hana, eomma?" He asked, not wanting to lie any longer, which shocked her mother.
"w-what? What are you on about, Seon Wo?" she remarked
"eomma I don't want to keep this a secret forever. I don't truly love Hana; I only stated that to appease Appa so that he would appoint me as President of our firm. There is someone in my heart who isn't Hana, eomma "He finally spoke confidently and bravely
"But please, eomma, don't mention anything to appa, just let me," he begged his mother.
"is it Ji won? song Ji won. right?" She inquired, causing her son to look at her in surprise.
"How could you know?" he inquired.
"I just knew, don't worry I won't tell appa, go to sleep enjoy a nice rest goodnight," her mother said hesitantly as she kissed her son's forehead and walked away.
However, Seon Wo appeared suspicious to his mother, but he simply shrugged it off and went to bed.
"The person who falls and gets back up is far stronger than the person who never falls."
