Candy goes to reach for the door and Fruit gasps and pushes Candy's hand out of the way. "I open doors in this relationship!" The masc opens the door and motions for Candy to go in with a huge flourish.
Candy rolls her eyes and walks into the building waiting for Fruit right inside the door.
When her partner walks in the building she holds onto their bicep.
Fruit feels protectiveness bubble up in their chest as Candy leans into their arm. Their heart also speeds up.
"Where do you want to go first? They have outdoor attractions, some indoor stuff, interactive stuff, and some films."
"The interactive stuff please!" Candy says stimming a little.
"Ok baby. Lets go!" Fruit says smiling at their partner as they stim and smile.
They walk over to the interactive portion of the exhibit. Candy makes sure to pet all the fish and touch all the shells. Fruit smiles and watches their girlfriend's smile get bigger and bigger with every second that passes. Candy walks over with a bunch of shells and hands them to Fruit.
"They said with the tickets you got i got to pick 20 shells!! And they said i can pick a bag too! I'll be right back, I'm going to grab a bag!"
Candy walks back over to the shell area and grabs a bag before walking back over to Fruity. Fruit smiles seeing Candy so happy. They walk over to the other indoor exhibits and Fruit watches Candy stimming and listens to her info dumping about all fish. Candy starts talking about how all the different fish work together and why they can be in tanks together, what temperature they need to be kept at and what kind of food they need.
"Baby you're so smart! You need to find a way to work at a place like this!"
"That'd be cool! But also I doing want to make me special interested into jobs. Ok, maybe gardening or herbal remedies."
"What about tea?"
"Technically tea is a herbal remedy!" Candy goes into another info dump and Fruit ends up cutting her off with a kiss.
"Wha-what was that for?" Candy asks in a surprised but happy tone.
"Whenever I startle you with a kiss you get flustered and blush. I think its adorable." Fruit smiles and runs a hand under Candy's chin pulling her a little closer.
Candy looks down blushing furiously, "I- I-" she looks down and shakes her head not able to finish her train of thought.
Fruit chuckles and cups Candy's face in their hands, "What baby? You can tell me."
Candy blushes a little harder and shakes her head, "No words."
"Ok cutie, want to go through the outdoor exhibits?"
Candy nods and the couple walks to the outdoor exhibits. Candy gasps when she sees the otters.
"Otters!! There are otters! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I love otters!" Candy starts flapping and doing her happy hands thing.
"Hey, can you do me a favor and tell me what this email says?"
Candy reads the email then gasps and her eyes start to water up, "I get to pet and play with otters?"
"Oh my gosh, you sound so happy right now." They kiss Candy's forehead, "You look and feel happy too!"
"I am happy! I've wanted to come here for so long and wanted to pet otters for even longer! You are absolutely the best partner ever!" Candy throws her arms around Fruity's neck. "I love you! I love you! I love you! You're so amazing!"
"Thank you baby doll! Im only as amazing as my girlfriend though." They add the last part wink.
The animal trainer comes out and helps Candy into the enclosure. Fruit starts taking pictures and smiles happily at their giddy girlfriend. Fruit takes photos of Candy.
Fruit watches smiles Candy get to pet and hold otters. Candy gets to play with them. She watches the otters dive after the toys she threw for them.
When Candy finishes she comes out with more rocks and shells and more importantly to Fruit, a huge smile. "How was it baby? Did you have fun?"
Candy just jumps up and down and nods
"Too much emotions to talk?" Fruit smiles as Candy nods still holding the treasures from the otters.
"Can you hold the rocks and shells out for me so I can get a picture of you with them?" Candy holds the shells out and gives Fruit a huge smile.
When Fruit gets the picture they hold the bag Candy got earlier with the other shells so Candy can put the new treasures in the bag.
"You ready to go baby?" Fruit asks smiling gently at Candy who has started looking a little tired.
Candy nods, "Sleepy.. cuddles?"
Fruit laughs and pulls the sleepy girl into their lap and pets her hair, "If we go home we can cuddle more. We can cuddle in bed, with the tv and a documentary playing in the background? Also If you want we can even go to your favorite tea place before going home?"
Candy smiles and nods leaning onto her partner and holds onto their shirt.
Fruit smiles and and cuddles Candy into their chest. They close their eyes and smile, allowing themselves to relax into the cuddles.
The couple sits there in the sun enjoying being with each other and just sitting in each others presents. Fruit smiles and just runs her hand up and down the back of Candy's arm. Goosebumps start popping up on all over Candy's skin and she smiles and curls up more into Fruit. The couple smiles at each other then kiss.
Fruit pulls back from the kiss, "Ok, lets go. I want the pastries from the tea store and you need some caffeine." Fruit winks at the sleepy baby and then moves to get up much to the protests of their girlfriend.
Candy whines and then stretches before getting up. The pair gets up and walks to Fruits car. Fruit opens the passenger door for Candy. She gets in the car and then kisses her partner.
Fruit blushes as they get into the drivers side of the car. When they start driving they hand their phone to Candy to choose the music.
"Ok copilot, set the music. I do have to request that its something you'll be able to stay awake to. No napping til we get home."
"But car naps are the absolute best!" Candy whines out jokingly.
The couple sets off for Candy's house to end their date with some cuddles.
