"You awake?" The man asks and you both just turn your head and look at him. He speaks again "Go see an old man named Sakonji Urokodaki who lives at the foot of Mt. Sagiri. Tell him that Giyuu Tomioka sent you." You just nod. "She seems to be alright since it's cloudy now, but never let her be exposed to the sunlight, okay?" Tanjiro nods and Giyuu disappears in a blink.
"Let's go up" You say to Tanjiro furrowing your eyebrows slightly and he just gives you a sad look and nods, you both hold onto Nezuko's hands and make your way up the mountain.

3RD POV:
Once you all arrive at the top of the moment you help Tanjiro bury all his family, and you both make a quick prayer.
You and Tanjiro grab Nezuko's hands and you look at them with a soft look before going back to your usual cold demeaner. Though Tanjiro saw that soft look and couldn't help the red that erupted onto his face.
He quickly shakes it off, and either way he can play it as the cold as you continue walking to Mt Sagiri.
It soon start's getting brighter so you quickly bring Nezuko over to a cave and decide you'll stay with Nezuko while Tanjiro go's and gets something to carry her in.
When Tanjiro leaves you notice Nezuko digging a hole and you look at her with an un-readable expression and she just stares back at you once she's dug her hole. You softly smile and pat her head which makes her eyes light up and she nuzzles her head more into your palm.
WITH TANJIRO
"Excuse me. Would it be okay if I took that basket, straw, and some bamboo?" Tanjiro asks the man who is standing on a field and points to a basket in the distance.
"Sure, you're welcome to it, but that basket's full of holes." The man says and looks at Tanjiro who nods "Yes. I'll pay you for it." The man shakes his head.
"No, that's all right. I mean, it's a basket full of holes." He explains, but Tanjiro won't accept that "No, I will pay you!" He argues the man just shakes his head and waves his hands "No, it's all right. You can have the bamboo and straw for free, too."
Tanjiro is now the one shaking his head "But I'm still paying you!" the man stares at Tanjiro with a blank look for a moment before speaking again "I said it's okay! You're one stubborn kid!" he yells.
Tanjiro ignores him and slaps some money onto his hand, "Agh...!" The man yelps. "Please accept this, although it's just small change!" Tanjiro yells out and quickly grabs the basket and other materials before running off, not taking no as an answer. Though he makes sure to yell "Thank you very much!!" to the farmer before disappearing.
He walks back to the cave and places his materials down, "Nezuko? Y/N?" He calls out. You both lift your heads from the hole and you say "She dug a hole and dragged me down here" seemingly unfazed.
'My little sister has turned into a mole...' Tanjiro thinks before yelling out "Just wait here for a moment!" Before running out the cave and plopping down on the ground, making a sun-proof basket.
By the time he comes back you're out of the whole and just watching Nezuko which just smiles slightly at, "Nezuko?" Nezuko pops her head back out "Nezuko, think you can fit inside this?" He asks, pointing to the basket, but Nezuko keeps her same blank stare.
"I want to keep moving during the day, too. I'll carry you okay? Can you fit in here? Bas-ket" He says to Nezuko, sounding out the syllables. Nezuko dives into the basket, though with her lower half still protruding.
"She doesn't really fit huh?" Tanjiro says glancing at you and you nod, redirecting your gaze to Tanjiro.
'I can't believe she grew up so fast. Seems like yesterday that she was tiny.' Tanjiro thinks with a soft smile, looking at Nezuko. Soon, an idea pops into his head.
"Huh? Nezuko. Remember how you became big like an adult earlier?" He says making gestures that probably mean adult. "Do you think you can do the opposite? Get smaller" Making more gestures "Smaller, Nezuko! Get smaller!".
Nezuko seems to get what he's saying and grabs the basket by the handles and jumps in head-first. And her head pops out and she looks at Tanjiro, seemingly looking for praises.
"Ohh!" Tanjiro squeaks "Good job! That's a good girl, Nezuko! I'm impressed!" He says while patting her head and she gives a closed eye smile, soon you join in on patting her head which seems to make the young girl a lot happier.
TIMESKIP
You both approach a woman and ask her the directions to Mt Sagiri "Mt. Sagiri? If you want to go to Mt. Sagiri, you'll have to cross over that mountain, but..." She glances over to the trail looking slightly uneasy "The sun's about to set. Are you really heading there with all that luggage?" She says referring to the basket Nezuko is in "It's dangerous, you know.".
"Do not fret, I assure you we'll be fine miss" I reassure her and she just nods, warily. We thank her and start walking towards the mountain, from behind us we hear her yell "People have gone missing lately! Try not to lose your way!" Tanjiro nods and waves back at her and I just keep my eyes on the trail.
Y/N POV:
We've been walking for a while and Tanjiro let Nezuko out, considering it's dark out. I see a temple and light in the distance (You have amazing eye-sight like Kanao). "Tanjiro, look" You say pointing at the temple, he squints his eyes and looks at the direction my finger is pointing "Oh! I could barely see that, you must have amazing eyesight Y/N!" I just nod and we continue our way over to the temple.
Though once you're at the bottom of the steps Tanjiro abruptly stops, you look at him confused before he yells "I smell blood" you widen your eyes and you both quickly make your way into the house.
You slam the door open "Are you alright!? Ah!" Tanjiro yells when we open the door, but there was no hurt person, instead one weird-looking man and two dead bodies. You quickly cover up your nose and try not to gag from the horrid sight and scent, you could only feel bad for Tanjiro's poor nose.
"What the hell? This is my turf. If you break into my territory, I'll make you pay!" The weird man yells out but I quickly realize, that's no man. 'That's a man eating demon!' I yell in my mind and my eyes shake slightly trying to keep my gaze away from the morbid dead bodies.
I look to the side and notice Nezuko's drool coming out of her muzzle and I glance over at her worriedly hoping she won't make the wrong move. I was too focused on Nezuko I didn't even hear the demon pounce onto Tanjiro until I heard him hit the ground and a yelp following soon after.
I widen my eyes and quickly ran over to Tanjiro and shoot ice at the demon, effectively pushing it off of him. "What the hell!?" The demon yells, luckily the ice was gone before he turned around so it looked like I pushed him.
The demon turns to me and pounces on me before I can do anything. I don't want to use my quirk considering that this demon might run off and attempt to tell other demons, but I don't have to because Nezuko comes sprinting towards me and the demon and kicks his head clean off.
I squeak slightly and push the 'dead' demon body off me and quickly get up. Though I realize it's not actually dead when it's body got up and went to grab Tanjiro, but before it could I came and gave him a good kick to the side which sent him a few metres.
