Asami looked at the last text Korra sent her.

Korra💙: Good night Love you ❤️

It made her heart shatter into a thousand little pieces. I really fucked all of this up.

Asami wanted to scream all of her pain into her pillow but she knew it wouldn't bring back the love of her life. "All I ever wanted was to be yours." Asami cried out into the emptiness of her room.

Korra...

Korra found herself alone in the same park she would take Asami. The moon light and street lamps lit the path.

Korra still couldn't understand what happened, "What did I do wrong?" Korra's face was streaked with tears. She sat on the same bench that she and Asami would stargaze.

The pain in Korra's heart was a thousand times worse than when she blew out her knee. "I can't do this." Korra put her head in her hands.

Korra didn't realize how long she had been sitting on the bench until a police officer shone her flashlight at Korra. "Ma'am is everything okay?"

Korra quickly wiped the tears from her eyes, "yeah, I'm fine." She said in a shaky voice.

The female officer walked up to Korra, "I'm sorry but you can't be out here, it's past curfew."

"Oh, I-I'm sorry. I lost track of time." Korra started standing up.

"What's your name?" The officer asked.

"Korra."

"How old are you?" She questioned.

"I'm seventeen." Korra replied in the same shaky voice. She couldn't keep her tears in control, the officer noticed.

"Is everything okay?" She asked in an empathetic tone.

Korra collapsed back down onto the bench, "No, nothings okay." She managed to slip out between sobs.

The officer felt bad for the poor girl even though she didn't know the story. "I need to ask, are you thinking about hurting yourself? I'm only asking because you're out here alone and you're visibly upset."

Korra didn't answer right away, "No."

"I think we should get you home. What do you say?" The officer stood up.

Korra followed the officer back to her car, "Where do you live?"

"Just up the street."

The cop drove Korra to her house and knocked on the door. Senna came to the door in her robe, her eyes were barely open until she saw Korra, "What did you do?" She asked in a stern voice. Korra still had tears in her eyes.

"Ma'am she didn't do anything. I found her sitting in the park visibly upset. I had to bring her back myself due to the fact that it's past curfew."

Korra walked into the house as her mother continued talking to the cop. She sat on her bed, her heart ached at the sight of Asami's smile in a picture frame on her nightstand.

After a couple minutes of staring at Asami's beautiful smile, Korra was brought out of her trance by her mother's voice. "Sweetie, what happened?"

"She left me." Korra broke down into her mother's arms. Senna rubbed her daughter's back in reassurance. "I'm so sorry."

"I don't know what I did. I loved her so much." Korra leaned into Senna's embrace.

"I know sweetie." Senna did her best to calm her down.
