Mitch lowered the girl into the floor. Her pupils became dilated, adjusting to the darkness of the basement. Mitch continued whispering things into her ears, his eyes an amber colour. Her aqua eyes open wide, she nodded, unable to disobey him, she followed him until she was outside the mansion making her way to find Maria's parents with a dagger in her hand. Mitch has gotten a bit weary of Maria's love for her parents, they could be the reason she tries to escape in then future. Mitch smiled smugly and returned to find Maria, who was eating in the dining room. She was staring around at the interior design of the room, large golden swirls and deep red designs filled the room. She munched on a raw onion with a disgusted look on her face. "Why did you feed me a raw onion Mitch? Of all things you could've bought, you bought an onion?" Mitch smiled, "Apparently cleans your blood..' Maria's eyebrows lifted up, suspicious. "And why would you want my blood to be clean..?" She asked, suddenly stopping munching on the onion. Mitch kept his calm demeanour and answered in a relaxed voice, "We wouldn't want you to be unhealthy whilst you stay here, would we?" Maria looked down, there was something not adding up. Clean blood, his portraits with people all over the place and his dark, spooky mansion. Who was this dude? She couldn't get her head around it all, Mitch stared at her softly, watching her bite her lip and think hard, making him smirk. She couldn't add two and two together because she doesn't believe in such ordeals such as vampires, but soon that will change. Mitch gently took her hand, "Come on, we are going for a walk around the mansion grounds." Maria immediately stood up. This could be her chance to escape, or atleast try find ways to escape. She followed Mitch eagerly, she couldn't contain her hope. Mitch saw the hope in her eyes, "Don't even think about escaping Maria. I am faster, smarter, more agile and stronger that you." Maria bowed her head, he was right. He was the sportiest boy in PE class, although he hated participating. Mitch led her out of the tall, oak doors and together they started walking around the mansion. The grass was overgrown, years of neglect had built up, the rusty rails and finally the trees who look older than earth itself. Maria took it all in. This was different, she was happy to be outside though. Mitch continued leading her around. Suddenly, he almost acted like he heard something. Within seconds, he had thrown Maria back inside the mansion, locked the doors from the outside and disappeared around the corner. Maria knocked loudly on the doors, Mitch was outside, why had he locked her in? Mitch continued down the drive and met with the girl who he had sent to kill Maria's parents. The bloody dagger, two dead bodies who had been dragged for what looked like miles and the blood-stained dress told Mitch that she had done her job. He clicked his fingers and the girl dropped into the ground, unconscious once more. After drinking the blood from both Maria's parents, he carried the Aqua-eyed girl inside. When Maria saw her, her eyes widened. Why was there blood on her clothes? And is that a dagger?! Mitch hauled the girl into his bedroom, locking the door firmly after. Maria stared from the end of the hall, whoever that girl was, Mitch seemed to care for her. Whatever would he do to her??
