57.I Never Hated You

Swaragini and others looked at each other and moves to door and  peeked inside.

Sanskar is helping Laksh with the shirt with utmost care.

Laksh sealed his lips so that the hiss doesn't escape and closed his mouth

San(comforting):it's ok...you are going to be ok..

And carresed Lakshs hair.

Swaragini and others looked at each other smiling and left from their leaving the brothers.

Sanskar put the sling on Lakshs hand, while Laksh eyes were tightly shut to avoid showing the pain.Sanskar shakes his head at his stubborn brother.

San:It's done laksh sir...

Laksh opened his eyes and look at Sanskar.Sanskar take the tray of food and sit in front of him.

San:You can't strain your hand so again I will be helping you to have this food then medicine..(smiling)part of the job sir...you know..

Lak(irritated):oo plz stop....

San(innocently): What sir?

Lak(glaring):stop calling me sir...

San:But sir...

But stopped seeing Lakshs angry face.

San:ok..ok...calm down.No more sir...now have this...no tantrums..ok..

Laksh without a word started having food from Sanskars hand.

Sanskar looked at him helplessly.His old Laksh would never have this tasteless food without fuss.But again he know he destroyed that Laksh and now he should make things right.

San:you know what Laksh..this quiet side doens't suits you at all..

But Laksh doesn't give him any reaction and Sanskar continues to feed him

San:you were always a loud kid... stubborn to..(and looks at laksh) I think it's in our gene not your fault...and cute to(smiling)nobody had any defence against you when he you were little...now also.. you had the entire household wrapped around you finger..

Lak:and obivously that entire doesn't include you..

San(sighing):It's not like that laksh..I was the only one who could stop your crying (teasing)when you were like really annoyed..I loved that.. because I felt important in your life..time passed I screwed but..I never hated you.. never..

Laksh didn't said a word but stared at Sanskar

San:tadaa.. finished..

Showing Laksh the empty bowl

San:Time for medicine..

Sanskar give Laksh medicines and made him eat and helps him to lay down

San:Take rest...ok

And turns to go but Laksh holds his hand and stops him.

Lak:yeh sab tik hey..you used to love me as a kid..u did know you are important in my life...(pausing) you were..but tell me at exactly what moment you realised I snatched your palce in everyone's life..I snatched the happiness from your life..your life will be better without me...

Sanskar shakes his head negatively with teary eyes

San:you are the most important person in my life laksh..I haven't admitted that earlier but I did know that...I never thought my life will be better without u..

Lak(chuckles):really...u told me all this.. but ragu convinced me you didn't mean all this and then you proved her wrong..proved my beliefs are wrong..and it's ok I understand everything..you can stop this act..

Laksh eyes were dropping and finally sleep take over him while Sanskar stood their dumbfounded

Later

Sanskar is sitting in between Swaragini on the terrace of Goddia mansion gazing at the night sky

San:I screwed things beyond repair..isn't it..I was drunk but how could I say all that to Laksh..when that monster told me my life will be better without laksh..I stopped him because I know what Laksh meant to me..

Rag:bhaiyaa...you can fix things

Swa:You should fix things..

San:my entire life was a lie...I believed someone so much that it blinded me...I'm an idiot..

Three of them turns back and sees Adi there.

Adi:But it's not time for self blaming..u have already made enough mistakes..

Swa(sternly):Adi..

San:No Swara..he is only telling the truth..

Adi:life won't give you chances again and again Sanskar..

Sanskar goes to Adi and stops in front him.They both looked at each other and Sankar goes from their

Swa:Adi you should stop showing cold shoulders to him..he is already suffering

Adi didn't said anything and left from their.Swaragini looked at each other.

Goenka Mansion

Sanskar walked inside silently and went towrads the stairs but someone hold his hand and stopped him.He turns back and sees Janaki.

Without a word he hugged her and sobbed in her embrace. Janaki hold him and runs her hand through his hairs.

Jan: Sanskar..it's going to be alright.. laksh can't stay away from u to long..don't lose hope..

Sanskar breaks the hug and wipes his tears.

San:Laksh..I should check him..

Before Sanskar could leave Janaki holds his hand and stops him

Jan:Laksh is fine..I made him have his dinner and medicine and he is asleep..now you should come with me and have food..

Before Sanskar could respond

Jan:I'm not going to here a no Sanskar..

Janaki dragged a half reluctant Sanskar to table.

Midnight

Sanskar is sitting beside Laksh on bed who is asleep.Sanskar caressing Lakshs hair lost in thoughts.

Suddenly laksh head moved to one side then the other in a fast pace and sweat beads were forming in his brow which alerted Sanskar.

Laksh gripped the bedsheet tightly as if to avoid the pain

San(panicking): Laksh.. laksh..

And pats his face

Lak(murmers):plz..plz.. don't...bhaiiii..bh..a..I...

San:Laksh..I'm here..Laksh you are ok laksh..you are fine..

Sanskar tightly gripped Lakshs hand

San:I'm with u laksh..I won't let anything happen to you believe me..

Sanskar's words helped Laksh and he slowly relaxed gripping Sanskar's hand.

Sanskar moved close to Laksh and laksh felt safe in his brothers presence and slips back into sleep
