005 ; A Man

I squeak slightly and push the 'dead' demon body off me and quickly get up. Though I realize it's not actually dead when it's body got up and went to grab Tanjiro, but before it could I came and gave him a good kick to the side which sent him a few meters.

3RD POV:

The demon head starts to speak. "You bastards! One of you is a demon after all? You gave off such a weird vibe! What's two humans and a demon doing teaming up?"

'He's actually talking!' Tanjiro thinks giving a disturbed but disgusted face.

The demon's body soon runs at you and Nezuko and tries to kick Nezuko but you kick him to side "What the hell! You're not even a demon slayer but you're so strong!" The demon yells and you ignore him and give him a cold glare which makes him slightly shiver.

You turn and check on Nezuko but when you're distracted the demon gives a harsh kick into your back and sends you into the forest with Nezuko chasing after you.

"Y/N! Nezuko!" Tanjiro yells out worriedly, he was about to run into the forest after you both when the demon's head latches onto him and tries to bite him which he defended with his hatchet. The demon grabs Tanjiro's shoulders and smirks.

'What's the deal with this guy!' Tanjiro thinks slightly grunting, the demon starts wrapping his hair around the hatchet which annoys Tanjiro.

'Growing arms from his head! I've got to protect Y/N and Nezuko!' Tanjiro thinks with an angry face "Hmm?" The demon smirks, "Out of my way!!" Tanjiro raises his head and headbutts the demon with great force. "Gah!" The demon spits out.

'Hard as a rock! That head of hiss' He thinks grunting but widens his eyes as Tanjiro raises his head up once again and smashes it back down 'Like a rock!' the demon thinks.

Tanjiro lets out a battle cry as he throws the hatchet with the demon's head still attached and it hits a tree in front of him. "Okay!" Tanjiro yells and runs into the forest after you and Nezuko.

"I wrapped my hair around his hatchet to grab it, but it got tangle dup! Damnit!" The demon yells out, annoyed.

WITH TANJIRO

"Nezuko! Y/N!" He calls out while looking around for you both, he finds you passed out on the ground after hitting a tree from that kick and Nezuko getting kicked by the demon body.

Nezuko grunts "Stop it!!" Tanjiro yells and pounces onto the demon body not noticing there's a large ravine underneath him, he looks down and widens his eyes "Ahh!" Tanjiro screams. Squeezing his eyes shut, he prepares for the impact but soon feels nothing and looks up to see Nezuko holding the collar of his clothing.

The demon body falls down to the body making a loud splat and Tanjiro breathes a sigh of relief as Nezuko brings him up. He stays there for a moment but remembers your passed out, he quickly runs over to you but sighs in relief when he sees no blood.

He picks you up and carries you back to the cabin placing you leaning on a tree and he walks back over to the demon head. The demon feels his body hitting the ground as Tanjiro walks over there "Gaghh!" the demon yelps.

Tanjiro takes out a small dagger from the bottom of his hatchet 'I wonder if there are tons of demons out there. This isn't the scent that was lingering in my house. That was a different demon..." He looks at the demon. "But... I gotta finish him off, or he'll attack more people. So... I gotta do it!"

Tanjiro's breathing get's heavier as he looks at the demon's head 'Do it!' he thinks. A hand grabs Tanjiro's shoulder and he jumps "Ah!" he turns around to meet a red tengu mask.
