Tiffany's POV

I never got to talk to him about everything that day...or the next few days after that either...

Things were getting out of hand now...more worse than before, I've come to discover, Dutch fatality shot Leviticus Cornwall from Arthur's mouth... Dutch was off once again egging on Rains fall's son and was preparing to infiltrate the oil factory in new handover for bonds Cornwall had, while me and Arthur went to Monroe to help with the natives.

On our little journey, I told Arthur the story of how it was possible for me to heal at will, and that it was my grandmother who taught me before she passed away. She always said I was special and hoped that I would discover it while she never could, because she was too old and was also accused of witchcraft by the locals and was hanged shortly before my town was burnt to the ground.

Arthur wasn't one to believe in magic, the many months I've know the man, but to my surprise, he seemed to be more mellow and accepted that it was a sortve miracle gift, grandma left behind for me to discover on my own and she was right..and I bet she would be so proud.

Afterwards I heard from John that Arthur went with Dutch and Eagle Flies trying to trap the army and try to force them to leave the natives alone, and you can guess how well that went, once again it ended in disaster.

I could not believe Dutch would involve himself in matters that don't concern him nor could he do anything about it with the unfairness the poor natives had to deal with the army but the interference from Dutch has made things much worse, he had done things she never thought he would do...

He was acting like a straight up mad man with his horrendous actions and even Tifa had to acknowledge that once again.

Regular POV-

The worry creases appeared across her forehead, as her stress level skyrocketed, Tifa sighed tensely, with her hand on her forehead leaning her elbow against a small side table feeling helpless for a moment, her hand drifted to her stomach and rubbed it a little, she sniffed softly as a soft knock sounded off, Tifa looked up half hoping it was Dutch somehow "Come in"

"Hey...it's me..."

Marybeth

No...of course it wouldn't be Dutch...it felt like he was doing his own things now with or without her, not caring if Tifa was around or not, her heart beat with sadness as that neglected feeling shrouded her thoughts... either it was for her safety for the lack of involvement or something else, Dutch's change in demeanor and attitude was apparent and frightful

'I know he said things would be bumpy between us...and to trust him, but I didn't think things would be this bad...'

"How's the baby, Tifa?" Marybeth asked as she sat down on her cot and Tifa glanced down at it as Marybeth rubbed her stomach

"It's quiet...But I feel movements here and there..." Tifa answered hoping she heard her correctly "Did everything go well?"

"Yes, it did, she's safe and John knows as well"

Tifa had a grateful expression on her face "Good. I'm really glad to hear that" she said softly

Marybeth then looked at Tifa's face and had a worried expression seeing her look pale

"You look so tired, Tifa..." she said with concern "You haven't been sleeping or eating right...have you?"

Tifa looked down "due to being alone mostly...well, I've been going to small nearby towns to eat lately...but you're right on the sleeping part"
