I awoke in a pink satin bed. The morning sun arising from the horizon lit up my room with an array of colors, from oranges to pinks to many shades of red. Yet with this beauty I felt as if I was missing something important. A mother maybe. Someone who I loved more than anything, but was now lost from my memory. My maid, Lizzie burst into the room, a breakfast tray in her hands. "My lady, I'm glad you're awake. I brought your breakfast like I was told. " Lizzie spoke kindly, yet obediently. "Lizzie. I told you before, there is no reason for the honorifics. Just call me Katrina. Also, I can get up myself to get breakfast. No reason to force you to do it. " I responded happily sighing at Lizzie's presence. "My- I mean Katrina, I will remember that for tomorrow. Would you like me to lay out your outfit for today?" Lizzie asked setting down the tray full of food on the table next to me. My green eyes lit up like emeralds when I saw there was a bowl of porridge with berries. "Why don't you join me in this breakfast?" I asked handing her a small bowl of grapes. She gratefully accepted and began chosen down on the tray of food I gave her. I laughed while eating the delicious breakfast and soon Lizzie looked up, her face red with embarrassment and disappointment. Not in me but herself. "I'm sorry, Lady Katrina. I are all of the breakfast. " Lizzie said tears in the verge if falling. " Dint worry about it, I'm happy with what I have. Anyways you need it more than I do. " I said softly setting my now empty bowl down and standing up. I figured it would now be a good time to get dressed so I asked Lizzie to bring the tray back to the kitchen while I dress myself. I went over to my wardrobe and opened the magnificent mahogany doors. They squeaked but I like them that way. I looked around for my pastel pink dress and found it shortly after. It was a beautiful town. With gems around my waist line and ankles. I then searched for my black cloak. I enjoy wearing cloaks to go hunting in the woods during the day. My father would severely punish me if he knew I was leaving the safety of the kingdoms walls to do 'manly' jobs such as hunting. It's simply unfair that Jeremy gets to run around hunting and learning how to use a sword all day. While I'm stuck trying to figure out how to walk, talk, and act properly like a princess should. I sigh at my thoughts as Lizzie re-enters the room holding a hand over her eyes to make sure I'm dressed. "Lady Katrina, are you dressed?" She asks closing the door behind her as she walks a few steps ahead. I decide it would be really fun to sneak up behind her and scare her. So I did just that. I slowly crept across the stone floor until I wasn't right behind Lizzie and... Boo! "Ahhh!" I screamed as Lizzie noticed what I was doing and got me before I could get her. I fell to the floor and blacked out for a few seconds.
*I was riding a beautiful white steed. Her mane a golden blonde. She stood up and knocked me off and I soon watched her fall to the ground.*
"What was that?" I ask Lizzie as I snap back to reality. "What Lady Katrina?" Lizzie responds, worry in her voice. "Never mind." I finish ending the subject. We soon exit the room and make outlet way to the stables. I'm free from princess duties today so I am going to go for a ride with Lizzie. I hop onto a brown horse with a black mane, and Lizzie hops onto the back. I am only allowed to take one horse out since Lizzie is a maid so we make do with our limits. We gallop off exiting the castle walls into the fields surrounded by forest. Lizzie and I ride through the forest until we get to the edge of our land. I notice some people crossing the borders and gallop over there while forcefully pulling my hood over my head. "Why are you crossing over our borders?!" I yell in the most masculine voice I am able to force out. They eye Lizzie and believe she is the princess of our kingdom. They soon decide to attack so I jump off the steed while telling Lizzie and the horse to go back to the castle and warn my father. I draw a sword and stand in a fighting position as the men draw nearer. Lizzie is now out of sight as I fight the men who crossed over the border of Moarte, and our land Inorog. I tried my best but having very little practice with a sword my hand slipped and the sword fell out of my grip. I was soon cornered against a tree with no weapon in sight and Lizzie still hadn't come back with help. I had no options left, but to surrender. I threw my hands in the air quicker than you could say my name, an with that they removed my hood. Seeing me as the princess of Inorog, Katrina Mikalson.
