LUCIFER SEASON 6 ENDING

Lucifer is one of the best series I've ever watched, the ending is beautiful. tho I kinda feel bad about lucifer, Chloe and Rory's not being able to be together as a family on earth while Chloe was still alive. but I understand they must do that, for the greater purpose.

I can see why some of us think it could be written in a different way, let's say what if Rory's time travel actually changes the past and the future and doesn't cause any paradox, many time travel story did that. what am I talking about? I mean rory can change the past, and the current Rory and the time line erased and simply replaced with a better one, so there will be no grandfather paradox. and they'll become a happy family. while lucifer did his hell-healer profession as a part time job, so he can spend time with Rory, therefore She doesn't have to grow up fatherless.

BUT let's see it from the writer's point of view (at least what I think it is), maybe the writer just wants to emphasize "the greater purpose" lucifer, chloe and rory have to do while still manage to love each other despite the time and distances between them, also THE MOST IMPORTANT is to show us the final character development of Lucifer, that our selfish, narcissist and immature devil has now grow and became a better celestial being for all mankind.

He truly loves Chloe and Rory but instead of choosing his own happy ending, He chose to help billions of lost souls in hell, how selfless is that? in the end, everyone still got their happy ending in the end. so it's not perfect ending for maybe some people expectations, but it is a beautiful ending and perfect for Lucifer's Character development.

"If the Devil can be redeemed, then anyone can,"
