A month later, Lily suggested that everyone should meet up at the park to enjoy swimming in the lake one last time before summer ended and the weather changed. Winston met Lily at her house to help carry the cooler. Five of their friends were already there setting up snacks, blankets and towels.
"We brought drinks everyone"
Said Lily, as her and Winston walked up to the group. Everyone was happy to be there and started getting ready to hit the water. Winston just found a boulder to sit on content just to watch. Lily like she always did, insisted that he joined them. After telling her no which seemed like a hundred times, Winston noticed Narcisco driving up to the park in his brand new Ram pick up truck.
"Hey look who showed up!" Said Paige, one of their friends. Lily ran up to Winston and told him how much she liked his new truck.
"Oh my gosh you are soooo lucky! My parents would never let me drive a truck they think it's too dangerous"
"Maybe I can take you for a ride"
Said Narcisco.
"Great.. now I have to compete with his new truck? What does she see in him anyways..?
Mumbled Winston.
