You all have made it to what you guess is Urokodaki's house "N-Now, have we... passed the test?" Tanjiro asks, extremely puffed out while you're just slightly puffed out, which impresses Urokodaki.

"The test starts now. We're going to climb a mountain." Urokodaki says and Tanjiro swears he felt his soul leave his body.

You all walk inside and lay Nezuko down on a futon, "I'll make sure to protect your sister for you" Urokodaki says and Tanjiro replies with "I'm counting on you, sir", while you just nod.

3RD POV:

'I'm exhausted! My legs are starting to buckle! I'm starting to feel dizzy, too' Tanjiro thinks while rubbing his head 'Geez, I'm tired already? This used to be nothing back at UA... I really need to start training again'. You think while sighing in slight annoyance.

"Ah.." Tanjiro huffs and you look up from the ground and see you're at the top of the mountain. "Now, from here, go back down to the house at the foot of the mountain. This time, I'm not going to wait until daybreak!" Urokodaki says and you give a curt nod as he disappears into the mist.

'I doubt it's that easy, there's probably traps.. I wonder has Tanjiro figured that out yet?' You ponder.

'Is that all?' Tanjiro thinks, looking around 'I see. He thinks I might get lost in this thick fog. I just have to get back by daybreak, right?' He nods to himself 'That's easy! I've got a great sense of smell! I've already memorized Mr. Urokodaki's scent!'

He turns to you "Come on, let's start heading down" You nod 'It doesn't seem like he's figured out there's traps yet? I probably should let him figure it out himself' You glance at him and you both start making your way down the mountain.

Up ahead you see a trip wire so you jump over it, but Tanjiro couldn't see it so he sets it off "Wah!" Tanjiro looks to the side and see multiple rocks coming towards his face, but before they hit him you pull him out of the way.

'Rocks!?' Tanjiro thinks "Thanks, Y/N" You just nod. Tanjiro takes a few steps forward and nearly falls into a pit but you grab him by his collar. "Ugh.." Tanjiro grunts as you pull him back up.

'A pitfall! I get it now. So there are traps all around! That's the deal, huh?' Tanjiro thinks, looking around and thanking you again.

Tanjiro takes one step back and triggers another tripwire 'Uh-oh!' Tanjiro screams in his mind, you once again pull him out of the way before a large swinging log can hit him.

'Crap, crap, crap! If I keep walking into traps like this, I won't make it down the mountain by morning!' Tanjiro thinks while rubbing his head ' And besides, this mountain... This mountain is... The air is thin here! It's way thinner here than on the mountain where I used to live! That's why I'm gasping for air like this and feel so dizzy!'

He turns to you "Y/N we should probably split up" you nod getting what he's saying 'he probably doesn't want me continuously helping him' "You go first I'll go soon" Tanjiro says, you nod and take a deep breath before starting to descend down the mountain.

As you run down, you hit a few tripwires but dodge most of them. (I'm not sure how long it took Tanjiro to get down the mountain so I'm just guessing) You made it back down to Urokodaki's cabin within and hour or two, pretty puffed out but not extremely and with a bit of dirt covering your clothes and some small scratches covering your arms, legs, and face.

You open the door and bow to Urokodaki, who has wide eyes at how quickly you came down the mountain. He just nods and watches as you go and sit down next to Nezuko, patting her head.

You ponder for a moment but decide to tell Urokodaki your 'situation'. "Urokodaki-sensei, I need to talk to you" You say, just barely turning your head back to look at him. He merely grunts in response as his way of yes and you scoot over in front of him.

"I'm not sure if you'll believe me, but I think it's information you should know before teaching me and Tanjiro" He just looks at you curiously and nods, motioning you to continue. "Well, i'm not actually from here." He nods.

"Well, I'm from Japan but... I'm from the year 20XX" He chokes on his spit, because he can smell you're not lying. "Go on.." He says "I don't think I'm from this universe either, because there was never a single thing about demons in my history books" He chokes on his spit again and thinks for a moment.

'What the hell? This girl isn't lying' Urokodaki thinks "And, there's something even more shocking. In our world 80% of the population has super powers called quirks, for example mine is half cold, half hot. I can shoot ice from my right hand, and fire from my left, though I don't often use my fire for... personal reasons" You murmur the last bit.

Urokodaki just looks shocked behind his mask "Want me to show you?" he nods and you make an icicle out of your hand and then melt it with you fire, though when you used your fire you unknowingly clenched your right hand.

Though Urokodaki noticed and realized he probably shouldn't talk to you about it.

You talk to Urokodaki about quirks and other details from your world which he is astonished at them all, when after an hour or so Tanjiro slams the door open "I.. have returned" Tanjiro pants and falls to the ground, but before he can hit it you grab him and place him on another futon.

Forgive my abruptness, Mr. Sakonji Urokodaki.

I'm sending a boy and girl your way who want to become a Demon Slayer swordsman and woman.

They were brazen enough to attack me unarmed and I couldn't even sense the girl.

The boy's family was slaughtered by a demon, and the surviving younger sister has become one, but I have determined that she will not attack humans.

I can sense something different about these three.

And I feel as if the girl is hiding something big, there is just something off about her.

Like yourself, the boy seems to have a keen sense of smell and I can tell the girl has a special quality as well, though I can not seem to figure what it is.

Perhaps they'll find a way to break through and become your heir apparent.

I am asking you to train them.

I realize that this is a self-serving request, but please forgive me.

I hope that you will take good care of yourself in your endeavors.
