I put my leg on top of the other as I play the glass of alcohol in my hand. I licked my lips, tasting the bitter alcohol left in my mouth. I gave a look on my maid, Shan. “She is Silva, a maid employed to the empire palace a week ago. Back in her hometown, she was branded as a saintess because of her bright looks and personality. She don’t have any powers on but she can make men hers in a glance.” She said, giving me information about Alas’ new maid. My lips parted, making a scoff. I sipped a little from the glass.

How suspicious. Even if she is new here, there is no way Alas would have definitely notice her. She must have done some witchery to get closer to Alas little by little. That maid...what is she planning?

“She might be hiding it. Investigate further.”

“Understood, Your Majesty.” She put her hand on her chest and bowed before disappearing from my sight. I was left in ponder. Nilagok ko lahat ng aking inumin at napatayo.
