I slowly opened my eyes to the sight of Lizzie peacefully sleeping next to me. My hand rested on her side but I decided to move it up to her cheek. I slowly moved her hair out of he face and behind her ear. She stirred a little and I got scared that I woke her up but she only scooted closer to me. Her head rested on my bare chest and under my chin. The few flyaways that she had tickled my face. My hand found its way from her cheek to her bareback. I slowly rubbed up and down her spine and thought about last night.

"I hope you're not sore," I whispered softly. I figured she wouldn't respond.

"I'm not," she responded. I had no idea that she was awake.

"I'm sorry if I woke you."

"You didn't," she place soft kisses along my bare chest.

"Are you sure you're not sore?" I asked again. I knew the small amount of sleep that we got might've not been enough for her body to recover. "I can run another bath for you."

"Hmm," she hummed softly. "I don't want to get up though."

"Give me a few minutes," I said placing my lips on the top of her head.

"No, it will be so cold," she wrapped her arms around me so I couldn't get up.

"Elizabeth," I whispered trying to get her to let me go.

"You're naked you can't get up," she giggled.

"I'm going to get up and throw on a hoodie," I told her. "I will be right back."

"Nope," she said slowly. "You're not allowed to leave unless you're going to get me wine."

"It's seven in the morning," I scoffed.

"Doesn't matter that's the only reason you're allowed to leave," she buried her head further into my chest.

"What if I said I was going to get you wine and then started a bath for you?"

"You would get no kisses for a whole day," she muttered.

"But what if I get you wine to drink while you're in the bath?"

"Still no kisses."

"That would be more of a punishment for you," I noted.

"You're probably right," she murmured. Her grip around me had loosened and I slowly slipped out of bed. "No, please come back. We can do it later."

"I'm sorry bubba but I'll be right back," I promised her while throwing on a large hoodie.

I walked to the bathroom and turned on the hot water like I did the previous night. Instead of waiting in the bathroom for the water to fill the tub I went downstairs and grabbed two bottles of wine and two wine glasses.

When I got back upstairs I set the items in my hands down on the edge of the tub and returned to Lizzie. I sat on the edge of the bed and she rolled to face me. My hand found its way to her side and I slowly moved it up and down.

"Lizzie," I whispered. She grinned with her eyes barely opened. "Everything is ready."

"I don't want to get out of bed," she muttered.

"I know you've said that a few times," I slowly pulled the covers off of her. I picked her up off the bed and carried her towards the sound of running water.

"It's so cold," she whined. "And my body hurts."

"I know baby," I rubbed her back softly before setting her down in the tub. Instantly her eyes flooded with relief. "Doesn't that feel so much better?"
