Serenity was running late as always, she never made it on time . Her parents usually dropped her off, well in her imagination at least. They usually ignored her and her sister , so that left Kayla , her sister , to help around the house. Serenity was running trying to make it on time thinking about how she wished her parents actually dropped her off , it was her first day in fourth grade. she wanted her family to be like others , taking pictures of their child , awing at how adorable they looked , she kept thinking about normal families ,until she bumped into someone . falling down with her bag being the only thing to stop herself from being hurt. her books fell onto the pavement. "ow...." she muttered . she looked up at whoever she bumped into apologize."i'm so-" she started but blushed seeing her face.
"its fine " the stranger said as she got up. "my names Ava " giving her hand out to help Serenity up. Serenity accepted the help a bit flustered
"t-thank you" Serenity replied. "i'm serenity, nice to meet you partner" she said in a western accent to try making Ava laugh , and she was successful. Serenity smiled seeing her laugh , blushing more. she wondered why she was blushing so much , she was supposed to do this with a cute funny guy, right?
"ill see you later " Ava said and walked away. serenity sighed wanting to talk to her more but she let her go , then she was gone like the seasons. serenity picked up her books then she went to class , tired from running to class. she went to sit down in her assigned seat . that's when she saw Ava. she woke up the second she saw Avas face. she groaned turning off her alarm.
