Funny Little Game

Bull sighed as he scanned his ID card for the fifth time. He had done it correctly all five times, but seeing the little green light light up made his day feel less mundane. The spaceship wasn't that big and it wasn't that uncommon to see another homie, but mostly it was boring tasks and lonely hours. Bull almost wished something exciting would happen.

"Holy what," a voice yelled out through the hallways, "help! Someone come quick." Finally, Bull thought to himself, something was happening. Bull pocketed his ID card and ran to the source of the scream. He entered the cafeteria and saw Felipe standing in shock at the bloody body of Fiendly.

Bull couldn't help but stare at the gruesome sight in front of him. It was like something roughly sliced into Fiendly's gut and ripped out his intestines, which now hung limply on the floor in a pool of their own fluids.

Bull felt someone push by him, and saw Chaos running towards Fiendly's corpse. She laid him on the ground, moving part of the tight space outfit out of the way before beginning chest compressions. Bull watched her try to force the life back into Fiendly, but the gaping hole in his abdomen proved evident that it was a futile task.

Bull shuffled towards Chaos and placed a hand on her shoulder. But Chaos persitted, not letting up on the chest compressions. Bull kneeled down and wrapped her in a hug, before pulling back and pulling her away from Fiendly's lifeless mass. She didn't resist, instead pressing the emergency meeting button on her belt with shaky hands.

"I don't want to be the one to say this," Moomoo's small voice broke the silence, "but one of us did this."

Bull didn't want to believe this. He most certainly did not want to believe that any one of his friends could be a killer. But from the sight he saw earlier, he had to know otherwise. This was starting to remind him of a funny little game he used to play with the homies. But what was it called.....? "AMOGUS!" Bull called out loudly, slamming his fist onto the table and crushing some crumbs and sprinkles in the process.

"What?" Toast asked, looking up at Bull with wide eyes, still in fear from the bigger man next to him making the sudden loud noise.

"This is like amogus," Bull explained, looking his friends over. "Someone in here is an- oh wait one of us is an imposter," Bull shook his head as he tried to think of the correct saying.

"There's an imposter among us," Felipe spoke up quietly. Bull flashed her a grin, he remembered the days of playing Among Us with his friends and how Felipe would play as his bodyguard.

"Exactly," Bull replied, turning back to the group, "If we want to win, we have to find the imposter, and eject them."

"This isn't a game," Bliss' voice was cold, "someone died. And accusing one of us is stupid, we're all friends and none of us would ever do that to Fiendly."

"No, Bull's right," Moomoo interjected, "well, kinda. I mean there's no way someone magically got on the ship, but I don't want to believe that anyone here is a killer. That being said, there is a killer on the ship, so we should at least find out who it is and apprehend them."

Bull nodded, "You're right Moomoo, besides it's a little early for accusations. I think for now we should just do our tasks and report anything suspicious."

The group said their agreements and got up to continue their tasks in pairs or groups. Bull was with Chaos, heading to medbay to do the test tubes while Chaos did her scan. "Chaoooo, how's it going?" Bull glanced back, trying to sound upbeat for his friend.

Chaos sighed and pushed a few buttons to set up the scanner, "It's not the first dead body I've seen. I just wish I had been there sooner." The green light came on as Chaos took her place, and the scanner began it's slow work.
