I couldn't take my eyes off that boy with curly hair. There was something about him that caught my eye.
Then he looked at me. I turned my head in the complete opposite direction.
Oh my goodness. This is embarrassing. Thank god that old and annoying old lady came back to me with my food. "Their ya go, love." She put the plate on the table, in front of me. I grabbed a knife and fork and started eating the food as quick as I could. I just wanted to leave.
I heard a big loud laugh come from that side of the restraint. I forced my self to look, and saw the curly haired boy still looking. I looked away again even though I wanted to check if he was still looking. I couldn't resist.
His defined jawline. His deep green eyes. His soft curly locks. It was beautiful. But he has a girlfriend and he is also a bad example for me.
When I finished my food I quickly went to the checkout, which unlucky for me, happens to be just next to the boys' table.
I walked over there as normally as I could. I didn't want to make it awkward. That same stupid old lady was at the checkout. Is she the only person that works here for goodness sake.
"That comes to a total of $15." I nodded and scrambled through my purse. I couldn't find the extra $5.
"Oh for goodness sake!" I breathed. This can't be happening I just want to leave this restaurant and have those boys out of my sight.
"What's up honey?" She asked. I felt like saying 'you and those damn pet names' but I didn't. Instead I told her the truth.
"I uh... Only have $10..." I gave her an awkward look. And she sent me one back.
"Here. I'll pay." I heard a voice from behind say. I looked and saw the boy with curly hair. He walked to me and put his hand out. "The name's Harry." He stated with an unlit cigarette behind his ear. I shook his hand.
"No, don't pay. I'll go back home and get some money." I told him in a shaky child voice.
"Shut up and let me pay." He insisted. I pushed him out of the way.
"No." I spoke a little louder than I had planned.
"Look darlin'..." I looked behind to the old lady. "You can't leave the premises without paying so just let this guy do it and get over and done with." I felt like I was back at high school and just got yelled at. So I moved out of the way.
Harry handed the woman the money. Then sat back down at his spot lighting his cigarette.
"Thanks for dining at Margret's." She said then left the checkout.
I looked at Harry then at Niall's laughing face. "Uh thanks-" I was saying before I got cut off.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." He rolled his eyes.
I flashed a smile, then made my way back to my car at the college.
