Dangerous Soulmate?(Jikook)

Chapter 22

   Jungkook sat on the grass. He was currently outside, getting some fresh air since he's always cooped up inside. He breathed in and out, taking in the flowery smells.

   He was in front the garden, all the beautiful flowers shinning in the sun.

   He smiled.

  Even if he wasn't feeling his best, flowers always cheered him up.

   He sighed getting up to go inside for a drink. Maybe lemonade or just a glass of water.

   As he entered he heard his name being called by the maids.

   "Jungkook!" She exclaimed.

   "Yeah!?"

   "Mr.Jung is on the line and he wants to speak with you!" His eyes widened. Did he figure out something? What was he going to tell Jungkook.

   "I'll be on the line!" Jungkook hurriedly went to the nearest phone pressing the connect button.

   "Hello?Hoseok?" Jungkooks heart was pounding.

   He was nervous. What could be so urgent.

   "Jungkook where are you currently?" What a random question.

   "I'm in the living room hallway?"

   "No one is with you?"

   "No? What is Hoseok??" He was scaring him. What was he going to say? Was he going to say something bad?

   "Well,an update about my investigation, I was looking through files and other shit. I stumbled across your parents file. However the file was not there digitally but physically it was last located in the abandoned factory. All I know is that company and your parents were going to make so deal maybe lend money or your parents were probably business people. But as I searched further, your parents well sadly were well murdered at that same factory."

   Silence.

What was going on? Why?

His heart stopped. Murdered.

His parents were murdered.

   "What. Hoseok what did you say"

   "I'm so sorry Jungkook, I was shocked when I found out ."

Jungkook was silent. He didn't know what to respond.

Everything was going into one ear and out the other.

His parents were never killed in a car accident. They were murdered. By who? Who killed his parents?

"Who killed them." He managed to say.

"Well that's still unclear to me. I promise I'll find out"

"You said their file wasn't on digitally why don't we go to factory." Hoseoks eyes widened.

It could be a possibility that the file was still intact and well.

"Maybe but what if Jimin-"

"- we won't tell him. He doesn't have to know since he's barely here so it doesn't really matter."

It is risky. But anything for Jungkook.

"Okay, when."

   "This Saturday."

   Hoseok and Jungkook knew they had to be careful.

    Jungkook just wanted to figure out what happened.

   What went wrong?
