If you spotted him out in the streets of Seoul, you would have never guessed that he was a member of the mafia—much more that he was the consigliere of one of the most powerful mafia families in the city. If you were to see him sitting in a restaurant, you would have assumed that he was one of those chaebols who either accepted his fate of taking over the corporation or someone who had pursued fashion and the arts. He wasn't intimidating and he did not look harmless. His aura was warm and angelic—the perfect disguise for someone who was anything but.

Kim Seokjin poured him a glass of Soju. "I didn't know what you drink so I chose something that all of us do." He said as he placed the green bottle aside, intertwining his fingers as he leaned his back against the chair.

Jeon Jungkook raised an eyebrow, his gaze burning on the consigliere sitting across from him. He made himself comfortable on the chair he was sitting on, placing one leg over the other and pulling out his pack of cigarettes and silver lighter. "Cut the shit, why did you want to meet?"

"I know you have Y/N." Seokjin said, a small smile forming on his lips. "Jimin told me."

Jungkook pulled out a cigarette, scoffing. "Is everyone from your family a traitor?" He asked, placing the cigarette in between his lips and then lighting it.

"My family and yours aren't so different, Jungkook." Seokjin said, grabbing his shot glass filled with Soju and then drinking it, his eyes remaining locked with the underboss. "As much as you try to convince yourself that we are anything but—the fact that both Dons of our families are conspiring together."

Jungkook clenched his jaw, blowing out the smoke in his mouth. "What the hell do you want? Y/N? I'm never letting her go."

Seokjin poured himself another shot. "You should because it's the only way you can guarantee that she will fully trust you. Y/N trusts Yoongi and Yoongi alone. She's more of a Min than you think."

He furrowed his eyebrows. "What are you trying to say?"

Seokjin drank his shot. "Yoongi's at his lowest right now. He thinks his sister's dead, he's going to find out his father was murdered by his wife who is also cheating on him and is pregnant with a kid that's not his. Y/N knowing and not telling him about the affair and then making a deal with you and to top it all off—his most trusted caporegime was the one who was betraying his family all along." He leaned forward, elbows resting on the table. "Take her back to the Min estate and Yoongi will not accept her back to the family, now that you have tainted her. He will only see her as a traitor. He'll have her on the streets."

"What the—,"

"I'll make sure she's not," Seokjin promised. "If you promise to kill Min Yoongi."

There were very few times Jungkook was shocked. One was when he found out about Taehyung's involvement with drugs; two was when he found out about his brother's betrayal and three was when he looked at Kim Seokjin and realized he was more than just a pretty face. His eyes darkened, overcome with anger.

The underboss flicked the ashes off his cigarette. "You're a consigliere for the Mins, why the fuck do you think I'm going to do what you asked?"

"I know you already put a hit out on your brother." Seokjin scoffed. "You know Lee's men are not very secretive about it. It's their first time doing something worthwhile in their pathetic lives that they're going on parading about it to whoever wants to listen."

Jungkook curled the corner of his lips. "You want to be the Don, don't you?"

"I don't. What I want is someone who isn't fucking soft. Who can lead. I can never be the Don even if I wanted to because I'm not blood. Yoongi is burning our empire as we speak. I helped build that empire. I put my fucking blood in that empire."
