“It’s recovery surgery.” The nurse shook her head, her expression slightly excited. “I heard that Dr. Cheng personally took the lead.”
The nurse wasn’t clear about the other details.
“Okay, thank you.” Gu Xichi turned to the side and let the nurse leave.
Then, he took a cap and buckled it on his head before heading to the underground parking lot to wait for Qin Ran.
Twenty minutes later.
Qin Ran escorted a group of people back to the police station while Mu Nan and Qin Ran returned to the hospital.
They only came to know that Ning Wei was in the operating room when they had left the Mu family’s house.
Mu Nan went directly to the operating room on the 22nd floor and Qin Ran went to the underground parking lot.
Gu Xichi was leaning against the wall in the corner and it was too dark to see his face. He took off his sunglasses and raised an eyebrow. “I wanted to tell you last time that if you found Cheng Juan, he might be able to save your aunt, but that guy isn’t easy to invite. Who knew that your aunt had already been pushed into his operating room by the time I arrived.”
