Chapter 1: hes coming back?

"Ave" i heard my mamma yell for me from inside the house. i stopped brushing the horse and left the barn heading inside. Once inside i walked into the kitchen my mother told me to sit down

"yes mama"

"sweetheart your brother is finally coming home" she said with love and adoration in her eyes. i suppose i should explain. my brother along with his best friend are in the army. my brother is a medic and i honestly have no ide what his best friend does. i havenet seen either of them for a few years. im the middle child. Always the one that messes up and does no right. my sister on the other hand can do no wrong. her name is alexis and my brothers name is andrew. all a's. 

"when?" i asked her

"him and his littl friend will be here next week"

"ok does alexis know?"

"of course shes the first the one i told other than your father."

I just smiled at her and said i had to finish chores. Hmmmhhh i wonder how it will be now and what they even look like. it has been 4 years.
