Hanma decided to show (y/n) about delinquent lifestyle by visiting his old underlings and they greet him respectfully and she know each of them because she saw all of them when she was a cat
When hanma finished doing so, he brought her toward a certain store to buy a few bread to eat, since they're hungry. Sometimes, he would make a cheeky joke, making her laugh afterwards. Sometimes he would take a bite off from her bread, making she whine while chasing him around the city as his laughter erupted throughout the city
Walking through those store, making hanma halt his step upon seeing a matching necklace. She look at where his gaze directed at, only to see what he see. She smile a little by the ideas that they have that and wear it whenever they go. "Hey, ayano. Let's get that" he didn't realized what was he saying not until she shift her gaze toward him "what-?" She say in disbelief
"I say, let's get the necklace, aya-
And he realized it, finally. His body stiffen a little as he glances at the (h/c) girl who just stared at the necklace, not sparing any glances to his direction. Noticing his gaze on her, she turn to him as she smile softly. "You still think of me as ayano, huh-?" She say sadly. Hanma's eyes widen upon seeing her reaction. She's holding back tears, as she try to blink it away.
She want to run away, forgetting about him, live a happy life as a human. If only she didn't met him on that rainy day. "Hanma, if you still think of me as ayano, i prefer for you to let me go. I love you as (y/n) not as ayano" and she finally say those three words
Backing away slightly, hanma's hand reached up for hers, only for her to back away from his reach. He fucked up. He know it. He can't retake those words anymore. It's going to engraved into her soul
"Let's go back" hanma stare at her for a few minutes and decided to follow her to home.
